Why You Feel Like You’ve Played Outriders Before

Outriders is one of the more surprising releases of the year. A looter that releases in the middle of a small gap in the release calendar and most Outriders reviews that focused on the chunk of the game dropped in advanced were relatively positive. Outriders gameplay and systems may feel familiar to some of its players, and that’s on purpose. This is a look at what exactly Outriders is, but more importantly, how it takes its influences from the rest of the gaming space, and uses them to the game’s advantage.

  1. What is the best looter shooter on the market?

LITTLE ADDENDUM: The servers have been an absolute nightmare. As you can tell, I feel positively about the game, but it's obvious the team simply wasn't ready for a successful launch. While I do believe this will be sorted out, and the team has been communicative, it's still been rough, and frankly if this becomes a consistent issue, it will mar what this game actually is in a big way.

  3. just wish a game could come out without bugs and glitches and not have too wait for a patch to fix stuff that should have already been done 6/10 overhyped game sorry for those who paid $60 dollars for this game its should be $20 at best

  4. Outriders is basically if The Division gave you Destiny like abilities. Fun for a while but the only customization it has lies in its skill tree. Enemies lack variety and have super predictable AI. The Division and Destiny are better options. 7/10

  5. I downloaded it on Gamepass today, made it to level 6, and deleted it 😅. I’m not bashing Outriders in any shape or form, but it wasn’t my cup of tea. Whenever you start a new game, you pretty much know within the first hour if you’re going to stick with it for the long haul as something that will keep bringing you back for more. It’s like Demon’s Souls Remake on the PS5. Im getting wrecked, but goddamn it’s so rewarding when you push through and conquer a tough boss/area. I LOVE Souls games and Bloodborne, but they’re not everyone’s cup of tea 😝

  6. I agree with basically everything here
I just need to say that the game looks so bland 🙁
and the gun design is all over the place, 75% of the time in a bad way (the ice sniper is visually incredible) but its not IT overall, its just overdesigned and still looks cheap, ugly.
for example borderlands 3 did it perfectly with the visuals, its consistent, and can be out there (they should however stop using reskins)
destiny was a bit braver but the overall is basic
outriders was even braver but overall is almost as basic, so its inconsistent.

  7. I don't know if you can say it is built with single player in mind then battle Yagak on World Tier 5. Everything after 10 benefits from playing with a squad from battling mobs to handling Yagaks over powered balls. Shoot playing on five is a breeze.

  8. Really like the video. It pretty much sums up outriders for me. I love that I can sit here play the game by my self on what ever world tier I want and enjoy myself. Then if i feel like playing in a group I can do that as well. I like to take my time in a game and this I can play at my pace. I’m super impressed with the developers. I wonder what they could do with a destiny type budget. It’s a good start.
