  1. Thing I dont like about Destiny is that it gives you false sence of power, in reality you dont get stronger as you move up in LL.

I really hope this is not the case with this game, I want it be like borderlands or path of exiles or warframe or hek any classic rpg.

  2. PVE is definatelly something for me. I absolutely love Vermintide 2, and also like Remnant: From The Ashes so this looks like it's going to be right up my alley. I don't think the visual take is very unique though. But I guess you can't have everything

  3. Destiny 2 still has a big multiplayer aspect where outriders it isn’t as mandatory as destiny 2. And you can play the whole game single player in outriders where destiny 2 you can’t. You also have a multiplayer pvp aspect that not many looter shooters do right division 2 looking at you. Most looter shooters pvp have to much cheese in them. I think outriders will be an amazing game but I don’t think it will kill destiny 2 because of the community it already has following it. Just like wow it’s hard to make a game to kill a mmorpg with so much content and things to do. I stopped playing destiny awhile ago so outriders will be my new home. I think because it’s not a live service game it will turn a lot away for making it a long term game to compete with destiny 2.

  4. my only concern is this game will be great we finish the game spend a month finish all endgame than what everone back to destiny new season new stuff outriders needs seasons or raid or something similar to keep everone there after the honeymoon period

  5. Can’t wait for this game. It will be the first game I’ve purchased in a long time. I’m a huge Destiny fan but PVP holds that game back from its true potential. Destiny needs to ditch PVP already.

  6. I just hope the devs from this game don't make the countless mistakes that were made in previous games. IMO the power fantasy is boring I would rather feel skilled. Give me a PvE challenge any day and don't waste my time with worthless loot pls. The rewards has to match the challenge.

  7. Destiny seems like garbage lol, i played the first Destiny on release and it was a quarter of a game with 2 battle passes and shit mechanics, and Destiny 2 seems like the same shit, so i hope Outriders does the bare minimum bc thats what you need to do to beat something like Destiny

  8. This will be my last pre order if it flops I'm done…. 2020 killed me with crap releases, but new year and all. I play a few looter shooters and need something a bit more substantial since Division and Destiny and Warframe are getting a bit stale to me.

  9. I can't wait for this game but I'd have to disagree about borderlands 3, by far my favourite game last year and it fills the power fantasy role perfectly because if you build right you can destroy everything.

  11. They won’t be hamstrung by being a live service or any sort of serious pvp option. They can release a full game… people can consume it and then they can release expansions when they’re ready. People just need to limit their expectations when it comes to “endgame”. It could very well be fantastic but people always want more and sometimes that is unrealistic to expect. They have to follow through but all the pieces are there for this to follow a borderlands like model which, in spite of Randy, is the best for everyone.

  12. If Destiny 2 is the standard bearer of looter shooters then Outriders has a low bar to success for me. I have tried D2 several times and always find the game super-confusing. I never know where to go. I don't understand what equipment I'm getting. It's beautiful and feels good, but either I'm dumb (very possible) or the game is oddly designed. Compare it to Div2 which has a nice streamlined system as does Warframe or Borderlands 2 and Destiny is a cluster-f.

  14. None of em are perfect they all do things wrong and things correct like div 2
We can share loot bam huge win
    Pvp not so much
Destiny is good about keeping interest over short bursts of time
Which is why it hasn't died people come and go but the influx in is too substantial to notice but the most hardcore players of the playerbase leaving
And outriders already has 1 strike
They gave a fkn free demo af terrible 2 weeks of advertising and selling preorder that's dirtbag business they pissed in my wheaties once there wont be a second it better be fire
I'm still thinking of getting my money back either way
I got nothing for support but a fk you free progress to the people that we couldn't sway with footage like really
They all want casuals so bad they cause base casualties no fkn bs
