In todays video we’ll be covering Why You’re Getting One Shot in Outriders. If you’ve been getting oneshotted in the recent Outriders patch fear not! The most recent Outriders patch broke damage mitigation and made it so everyone is susceptible to random oneshots in outriders.
PCF confirmed that due to a bug that was either introduced with the recent patch or hidden by emergency stance pre-patch Outriders is broken and damage mitigation is randomly not working.
These random Outriders One Shots are unbelievably annoying but I offer some tips so that you stop getting one shotted in Outriders. Hopefully these outriders tips help you out and hopefully PCF fixes this Outriders One Shot bug.

Basically because you are bad.
There’s a trick to reduce dmg by unequip and re equip gears but it resets during cutscenes so u gotta keep doing it over and over…I don’t feel like doing that
Yeah I’ve been one shotted a couple times and I’m mainly in the tank side of my pyro build and I feel like I’m still very squishy

Ive had the issue of reloading with moaning winds , seeing the action of it but not making any dmg to the npc next to me , happened a few times already . Not sure if anyone else is having this issue as well .
I would have preferred the thumbnail not have the tears, but on another note. I still find e stance extremely good. I'm still clearing ct15 just like before. thank you for your thoughts.

I think the cutscenes mess mods and stats up, sometimes the dmg do also strange things . Sometimes a heatwave don’t kill a mob that would melt it , things like that , this is what I experience all the time after the last patch it just got worse . Sry 4 my English , btw thanks for ur pyro build it helped me so much !

I think the worst part is being at the literal end of the run and you die. Then the whole run is just pointless. Techno still rocking shit though with this dark sacrifice sharpeye combo.
totally agree with you here on the point of motivation to play the game
before the patch last Friday, i had a blast with my friends and solo running expo's, we used to clear CT15's with ease, i did the patch Friday and noticed solo i was dying so quick, I was barely making it past the first room on chem plant when the night before i was clearing it in 6-7mins solo, i never had a problem with armour or survivability before this.
It makes me not want to play Expeditions as some of the deaths you get are so so frustrating. It's a shame because i love the game and think its so fun, but at the moment I'm really getting frustrated and bored with doing Expeditions.
I'm avoiding the bugs by slowly leveling each class past the campaign. Staying away from expeditions till it's fixed cause it'll be super frustrating to have a run ended by a one shot.
I got one shot 4 times yesterday. Trying to get to CT 15. It happened after I would get to the last part of the expedition. Frustrating.
Bro this bug made me take a break from this game man. I was able to solo CT 15 before but now I can’t solo CT 14 because I can get one shot by anything in the expedition from environment bombs to one of those little pegoro. I try running more defense mod but that didn’t work at all. I just don’t know wat is going on because 54 thousand armor or over 100 when I kill somethings. I even try increasing my resistance using the skill tree. Nothing fucking works, emergency stance probably hid this issue before.

From what I see the base damage of any gun is broken. A level 21 gun 5463 damage is only hitting for 178 damage. Don't know why. ????
