BEST ANOMALY BUILD WEAPON! Outriders Legendary Shotgun Deathshield! Pyromancer Gameplay

Best Anomaly Build Weapon in Outriders! Legendary Deathshield Shotgun with its Fortress Tier 3 Mod! Adds 43% more damage, all of it. One of the best mods in Outriders by far. It singlehandedly makes anomaly builds viable for speed. Enjoy the Pyromancer Endgame Build with the Deathshield and Funeral Pyre with Shadow Comet.

  1. It's not direct 43% boost to your dmg output. It's 43% of your armor that's being added to your dmg, so low armor & this mod ain't that great

Edit: aigth you mention that later on 😄 my bad, seems like that mod is bugged then since you're getting straight 43% dmg boost

  2. Bro said your neighbors 😂 also I just love the consistency of this as opposed to bloodlust sharp eye killing spree etc I don’t have it yet but I’m prepared to use it whenever for whatever
Edit: Also the armor value is low enough to where base armor is enough. The only time it wouldn’t proc a full 43% is when you’re low level.

  3. The first time you get this gun, is it better to destroy it for the mod or keep it? I mean if I have only one funeral pyre and one deathshield, which one is better to keep for the shadow comet + fortress combo?

  4. It's pretty inconsistent and it doesn't seem to buff based on armor like it says it does. It seems to be based on resistance. You still want it don't get me wrong. But you are better off slapping it on like a pistol with resistance breaker on. Something that you can pull out for a boss. Spray them down so they take more anamolly damage and then go to work with your big boy weapons and abilities. The nice thing about Fortress is you get it's effect as long as it's equipped. It doesn't need to be on the weapon you are using.

  5. I've looted 4 now and had to dismantle all of them hoping to get a better roll. My highest roll was 82k which is terrible. I shld prob drop one on another character so at least I have 1 😄

  6. Where did you get the shotgun have you beaten eye of the storm I heard that a lot of loot is locked behind it so if you have not beaten it you cannot get some loot does this include that shotgun or did you pick it up randomly let us know how you got some of this gear

  7. Pwn, if I am running Trickster top tree with this gun, do I want shadow comet or embalmers rage? I have both mods and have not heard/tried with comet, only been using embalmers but still struggling on CT15

  8. My current plan, even though I do not know if it will work and allow me to progress to CT15.

Get the 3 pieces of reforged with Cooldown reduction, place the mod from the reforged chest on one of them. Put the mod from DeathShield on a revolver that gives me healing. Or if there is one, a revolver with a mod that does aoe dmg when reloading. Or a revolver that reduces enemy resistances.

If I go hybrid, but without volcanic rounds, then weapon-leech could allow me sustain, and still provide dmg through both weapons and high cooldown reduction use of abilities.

Elites are focused by the "turn enemies into bombs upong death" abilitiy, with the mod that makes them take 40% additional damage (since it stacks, 80%), and then use revolver, life-steal ability, and whatever the 3rd ability I land upon will be. Perhaps the flame-wall, since it also buffs dmg on them, perhaps some more exotic less common ability such as the eruption ability, or the beam ability.

Why a revolver? Because dual anything looks stupid to me. It was the coolest when I was a puberty teen. But now with age, experience, and some martial arts years behind me… it just looks inefficient and like I am a teenager fantascising about looking cool. Which I am not, I am a late 30's guy fantacising about looking cool.

Oh, and because using a pistol is way more Han Solo than bringing an AR to the battlefield.
My biggest hopes for this game is that they rework side-arms into something that can be a main weapon. And that we can unequip weapons without having to replace them.

Aesthetics has always been more important to me than effective progression. Only wish that developers would allow such objectives to be more viable. I do not need them to be top 10 most effective builds. But I wish they would more often be something beyond pointless effort.

  9. I managed to get this for my trickster on a WT12 package.

I also had the perk from the class tree that improves shotgun drop chance..

Not sure how impactful that perk was in getting this, but I feel like it helped.

My wt13 package was anomaly effigy as well..

  10. It says "up to 43% of your armor" but I imagine it works similar to the node at the end of devastator warden tree where it says "but no more than the same percentage of your firepower or Nomaly power"
