They need to fix multi player
Unfortunately there was just a small amount of positive news that came from this patch, the new changes to the 3 pieces of PS gear. As for the “targeted loot”, well it’s not worth the time at least for me. 1 RNG apocalyptic gear piece, the rest were garbage 2 modded pieces to dismantle. As for the end boss, I didn’t really see any difference. 4, 5, 6 or so Legendary’s and no less than 7 helmets every run. At ascension level 88 and apocalypse level 32, gear level 67, there really isn’t anything I need to complete my Techno Turret build. I run solo and the end boss is dead in 15 to 20 seconds. How much stronger do I need to be lol. It was fun coming back after a year away but kinda in the same position as before. Need more content to keep me engaged and continue playing . To be fair, PCF gave us what they said they were going to, it is what it is, so no hard feelings at all. 252 hours beta, 980 plus hours after release and 150 plus in the expansion, I certainly got my money’s worth and then some. Thx Outriders. 👍❤️
i still get alot of helmets from the endgame boss
To me it's like The Division when they introduced classified gear it basically made regular gear obsolete except in outriders it's to a much higher degree .they made this decision to bring apocalypse gear in apparently not understanding what the results would be. Just do away with regular gear no one wants it when you can have a extra mod on every gear piece #FACTS

Those helmets are like a horde of zombies. I'm a dismantle specialist, part-time. At Tier 32 Ascension level 91. The connection sucks. I got my gloves, finally. Found them last night. Now for my boots. Good luck, Cloud. They'll get it right. My only question is can the co-op connection be fixed?
I would also like to see huge xp boosts for flawless runs of Tarya. I'm at AT 17 and currently unkillabe and I just want to get to a tier where I'll have a challenge
If anyone is a bit frustrated looting Apoc Purple Gear to roll Status/Anomaly/X I have found success visiting Trench Town at ur current Apoc World Tier n speaking to vendors Rough Pavlo, Bailey and Tiago as they constantly refresh their inventory with their corresponding times above their offers.
The loot from the outriders loot pool needs to have some sort of protection to stop the same items you have already received from dropping over and over again, I have manged to get my hands on every legendary helmet in the game as an apocalypse variant except The Lava Leach helmet…. I strongly feel that any piece of armour that drops for you should have its individual drop rate lowered to leave room for you to have a better chance of getting items you don't already have.
Where do you farm gloves and boots?
I've been getting nothing but mostly downpour stuff on my techno I feel like they should have left the legendary drop rate alone. But I do like the changes to the troves. Or be able to select trove loot and get a chest of purples. Some form of loot protection would be nice to have to get newer stuff there's no way I should grind for a few days maybe a week and not get new legendary armor
Maybe we need to utilize Tiago more that the drops were decreased
I only grind expeditions for drop pods so that I can use them in tiago store. I also check vendors back in towns and Bailey for purples. This is this is consistent way I got my gear when playing the game. Relying on loot drops has never workout for me since the beginning of game. Would not rely on ot now.
I lost all my tier 3 mods after update, so that is extra fun 🙂
any loot hat isn't apoc level is worthless now unless you're a new player with nothing or desperately need an armour piece for a set bonus. The crafting system needs updated to include apoc gear cos right now crafting is pointless – used to be worthwhile but nobody is going to be farming blues anymore and upgrading them to normal purple.
XP, anomoly extract and drop pod resources need a MASSIVE buff. The cost of upgrading your gear is quite honestly ridiculous. I don't want to grind an entire session to upgrade just ONE piece of gear one level.
PCF stated it's supposed to be a long term grind to keep players involved – nope, it's going to have the opposite effect. Players will get bored and leave before they get anywhere near lvl 40 on even one character. Only the ultimate hardcore players, or some streamers, will ever max lvl more than one character.
What players want is to get to max level so they can then play with different builds, farm different gear, try new playstyles without having to worry about upgrade costs. I have one set of armour and weapons that I use cos there's no way I can afford to upgrade any more than that. Even with only one set of gear it's still about 6-8 levels below enemy level cos I just can't earn materials fast enough.
I really enjoy the game, played since the demo released, but I can already tell I'm going to get burned out before I get even one character to max lvl and relax and just play the game to have fun and experiment.
Ill give them till the bigger patch at the end of the month, but so far I am not impressed.
I still get all helmets from the arbiter, doesn't seem to have changed at all. Apocalypse gear drop rates need a little boost imo
Yea feels worse for some reason, if you want a chance at apocs gear you have to do all rooms, smh and pray that the role is aces.
so I have been here from day 1, in that time I have had to put up with a lot but I have been keeping the faith but that faith is getting pushed to the limit. I understand the game is a grind but you have to level that grind with reward and that's not happing now. How meny hours will I have to grind to get all 4 chars levelled and geared…….. not impressed
Endgame is terrible. Endboss is a repeat, 3 times, and by the time you're level 20 you've seen everything. grinding to level 40 is absurd just to play the exact same content for hundreds of hours, just on a higher level. It's a DLC culdesac. This anemic design and has no shelf life with the complete lack of purpose or direction to keep it even remotely relevant. If you beat the same main boss at level 16, there's literally nowhere to go but chasing your tail to burnout.
Let's hope they bring out an option to upgrade to apoc gear

I play an anomaly Devastator. I'm at Apoc 21. I never even use Apoc purples. I simply wait until I get set pieces. So the fact that the Apoc purples rarely drop is a pain because that blue material is handy. Also that first trove is weird. It's suppose to drop boots but I only got one last night and then like two other items. Wow.
I personally, Apoc35, haven't gotten a single piece of purple Apoc gloves or boots with anomoly power and the right mods… I'm honestly burnt out and don't wanna farm anymore lol. Loot needs a quality adjustment, you get tons of loot but 95% of it all is dismantled. I appreciate the materials but if I'm not progressing my build and the odds of that happening at higher Apoc tiers are not in my favor, the game is shelved imo.

PCF need to really overhaul their itemization. If they take inspiration from Diablo like they say. Their drop systems are horrrrrrrible.
I play every room this morning, and the loot pool when to poo poo, i had so much Non- Apoc gear, loot over all is like 60%, 4 apoc gear purple, 4 reg leg, Apoc gear like 1 /3 in end, and 2 off boss ?? WTF loot pool ….
God roll gear should never ever be easy to obtain
I dont know if I misunderstood the 'gaurenteed apoc legend' from the troves in side rooms, but 4 runs gave me 1 apoc legend from boots trove. 80% was non apoc pumps. Definitely not buffed to 9 gaurenteed apocs per run, thats for certain.
Most legendries I buy from Tiago. I have multiple times in a session, where no legendries fall, even not sometimes purple ones. And those new versions of the loot, seems to be very rare. Which makes grinding even more a .. grind.
why cant we just get all Apac gear in TG they can do that right

The loots are horrible now and the matchmaking is the worst of all multiplayer games ive played you keep joining players that are afk or doing something in the lobby otherwise get kicked if you joined
No apocs on runs when this not get better i will leave the game again! Im 65 ,but get boring same rooms over and over and bad loot now !! Anomaly abstract is a bigger problem now

Loot is ass now, I literally deconstruct everything. And now they make regular legendarys drop more then apocalypse legendarys I literally deconstruct everything now. I've been using the same gear for the past 14 levels and this is absolutely pathetic they would do this shit. It makes me not enjoy playing anymore honestly. I'm just kinda over it and think it's time to take a break from outriders for now.

Non-apoc gear is only there for materials. Apoc gear only gives mods and apoc mats.
Yup after seeing all the shenanigans caused by the patch I didn't even bother starting the game.
