NEW RPG Looter Shooter On The Rise? – OUTRIDERS DEMO REVIEW

Outriders is a third-person shooter mixed with elements from role-playing games. In this video I will share my honest opinion and first impressions from playing the demo.

Set in an all-new, dark sci-fi world, OUTRIDERS is a true genre hybrid that combines the depth and story of an RPG and the intensity of third-person shooter combat with awe-inspiring powers. Deep character progression and itemization allow for a wide variety of creative class builds, and evolve People Can Fly’s trademark over-the-top, skill-based gameplay to create a brutal RPG-shooter experience.

Powers on Tap – Dominate the battlefield with destructive powers. Cooldowns are short and powers are there to be used often, so don’t rely on just guns.
Kill to Heal – All Outriders heal through doing damage. There are no medkits, syringes or health regen on Enoch. Aggression is key to surviving and thriving in the heart of battle.
Cover’s for Cowards – Cover won’t save you in OUTRIDERS, it can only buy you time. Select your most powerful loadouts and dive headfirst into combat.
Think Aggressive – A guiding philosophy for survival. Confidence is everything on the battleground of Enoch, and an aggressive playstyle is a key ingredient to success.

In the beginning of the game, players create their custom characters and choose from four classes, each of them has unique abilities that the players can utilize. The four classes include the Trickster, which has the ability to manipulate time, the Pyromancer, which can manipulate fire, the Devastator, which can unleash seismic attacks, and the Technomancer, which uses turrets and other devices. These special skills have a short cooldown time and can be combined with other skills for maximum effects. The game features a skill tree that allows players to unlock and upgrade their skills.
