  1. I heavily disagree with the whole "endgame is everything" especially when this has been presented as a actual complete game rather than a live service game, im glad that theres a campaign rather than a bland endgame that lasts 100 hours, im perfectly fine with 20 to 40 hour campaign that ill be replaying atleast 4 times due to the 4 classes, the endgame here is just the cherry on top.

  2. Honestly right now borderlands 2 end game is still the gold standard to me. I much prefer individual raid boss fights to raids. They are faster to make and honestly they are why we care abour raids at all.

  3. I hope this game is good, we need a new great looter shooter, but it worries me there not showing any new gameplay videos or what we can except in the up coming demo, for me I don’t care to much for story or the campaign, it’s the endgame and loot I want.

  4. I get that they have expeditions to be the endgame grind and I'm okay with that. But what I would like to see from these maps is that each of them are unique in their own way. Whether it be from enemy interactions, or puzzles or mechanics or even being forced to wait for a specific event to happen in a map in order to progress. What I don't want them to be like are the strikes from destiny 2 where you basically just walk through it with zero thought into it.

  5. I'm hoping it lives up, but I will not be getting it at launch. Limited time and Monster Hunter comes out the week before. It's 100% still on my radar and if it lives up it will be the game I get after MHR.

  6. I have high hopes for this game. We need polished PVE endgame content. (I see this game like a shooter Diablo game. This world tier content not a bad thing in my eyes.)

  7. Warframe being praised for endgame is goofy. It doesn't have end game. At all. Nothing. It has game and if you enjoy it you'll play it but when you've gotten everyhing and done everything there's nothing to keep you coming back. There is no stat rolled end game items. There are end game modes but they don't have end game rewards so people don't play them. Usually end game is self sustaining content. Stuff that is fun to do and has a reward that'll keep you doing it over and over. Warframe has none of that. At all. It doesn't belong in this conversation.

  8. As long as the gameplay is fun and there's plenty of viable builds/weapons I dont mind repeating the same shit over n over… i just hope they add some randomness to these missions like random enemies/variants or modifiers etc.

Also fuck crit damage/chance off, most builds in games tend to go for dps and crit just makes it dull and boring.

  9. Looks like it’s going to be a solid game. However the timer is turning me off. Being forced to rush through levels for loot turns into a mindless task quick.

  10. Free to try beta is promising.

Games like this and many others need an option to skip campaign for alternate characters after first completion, if players end up preferring the endgame.

  11. I'm actually diggin the fact that they come out straight away and tell you, this is what you get, all wrapped up into the purchase price. If you all like it and want more then let us know. If there is an interest, then we'll drop more content. Bold and different, I like it a lot.

  12. Well i don't like the Idea of "Speed is Key" for the endgame.
I surely wanna take my time clearing all the Adds, you know enjoying the Game but the need for speed to obtain the best loot is just stupid in my opinion.
Guess we have to wait for the full game to release so we can see if the Endgame is worth it to keep playing.

  13. I maxed my BL3 character level right before the launch of the 4th skill tree. This did not motivate me to play the game any further.

Gearbox did not bet on the right DLC strategy. More playable characters would have kept them milking me tbh.

  14. The expeditions have one major drawback for me: it appears to require a team. To progress, you would then need to create the systems in place for players to communicate, form friendships, and group based on the confidence in each others' capabilities. This suits mmorpg genres and live service games much better due to their naturally social nature. If they made expeditions possible to run solo, I'm in. If not, I get the feeling that purchasing the game simply for the most likely subpar single-player campaign, and the inability to go any further without relying on others, would kind of kill it for me.

  15. I thought the game only came out on Ps5 (console player here). Did some more "focused" reading (literally me just squinting cuz I'm blind af) and found out that it releases on pretty much everything. Instantly pre-ordered it. Never really touched Destiny, Division, or Anthem. I'm a die hard mmorpg guy. The only reason I pre-ordered this mofo is cuz..W H A T else is there to play nowadays (F in the chat). Plus I saw like alot of hours of gameplay from people who aren't getting paid to tell you "it's a great game I promise". Let's be honest fellas, the game is def worth a good 60$ 👍🏿

  16. Anthem was good when it was new…javelin customization, flight mechanics, combat…that stuff was good..there’s just no point after the story to do anything..as far as outriders goes…I hope it doesn’t fall to the same copy and paste like Avengers did and have to keep fighting the same boring ass robots over and over in a slightly different area

  17. I do not mind grind in the least, so long as I’m rewarded for my time/investment. I’m however more of a slow methodical player. This game seems like it’s great (find out tomorrow), but with timed elements, forcing me out of cover, never really allowing me to think, the constant barrage of enemies, that absolutely beyond annoying and horrendous red strobing hue when wounded that takes over 50% of the screen, I’m not sure how much this game will really be for me. Optimistic and yet hyper-cautious about wasting my time.
