Today we have the Outriders Patch Review for 6.22.21. The 100% Legendary Drop BUFF is finaly LIVE! This Outriders patch also adds the new anti-duplication system is also live, but is it good or bad for players? Check out my thoughts and review. Additionally, under the radar PCF has snuck in a long requested bug fix. Old items in your inventory will no longer get marked as new continiously! Plus more bug fixes in todays video.

Patch Notes:

We’ve made some changes to the Legendary Drops.
Legendary Drop Rates, across the board, increased by 100%

Legendary Level Brackets have been removed, so that all Legendary items can drop at any level.

Previously, some items could only drop from enemies of certain levels or above. For example, the Ugake Cowl could only drop from enemies of level 48 or higher.

Legendary Anti-Duplication System implemented

This system will mean that if a character has an item in their inventory or stash and a duplicate item is rolled, the dropped item will be re-rolled once.

Note that this system does not guarantee that every drop will be unique. Rather, it is designed to provide a second roll at avoiding a duplicate.

Scripted Boss Loot (Chrysaloid, Yagak) are now able to drop all non-class specific Legendary Helmets

This change will improve the variety of items in the Campaign.

Previously, these bosses would only drop a selection of Legendaries (the same pool that was available in the Demo as well as the Cannonball Helmet).

The Luck system has been improved and players should no longer experience very long droughts without a Legendary item dropped during endgame.

The base scaling of Legendaries dropping through higher difficulty levels still applies, so you may will still want to farm as high as possible.

General Patch Notes
[CONSOLES] Added extra options and settings for controller customization including Deadzones, Look Sensitivity, Acceleration and Legacy layouts

[XBOX] Improved Sign-in Times

[EPIC STORE VERSION] Fixed an issue that was preventing the pre-order Hell’s Ranger gear from unlocking as intended

Made improvements to multiplayer connectivity

Fixed an issue that was causing old inventory items to be marked as new.

Fixed a bug that prevented players from running if they were stunned while using the Trickster’s Cyclone skill.

Fixed a bug that caused the Alpha Lurker enemies to be able to one-hit kill players under certain circumstances.

Fixed a bug that caused the Scrap Grenade projectile to be blocked by dead enemies.

Fixed a bug that caused Feed the Flames’ Ash effect to not trigger properly in multiplayer.

Fixed a bug that caused Weapon mod ‘Ravenous Locust’ to not deal damage if used together with the ‘Weightlessness’ mod.

Mitigated an issue whereby players could get stuck in an animation after using Gravity Jump in multiplayer.

Crash Fixes.

Extra Note
We’ll have more news of the second run of the appreciation package very soon and will deploy it when we’ve run a few more tests on it. We’re hoping for it to be ready by Thursday but we’ll confirm this on the day.

  1. If you want to avoid the duplication, put weapons or armor on another character. You can play without 1 certain item. I like what they implemented. The GOD roll thing is BS, I have very few god rolls, and never use them anyway.

  2. How I know, that a dropped legendary is rerolled? I run 3x Gold T15 now and 1st time 3 legendarys 2nd time 1 legenday and 3th tile 4 legendary but all stuff that I had. Nothing new

  3. All you need to do is make a bank character and put the items you are looking for God rolls on and put those items on your bank character.
    God rolls is such a niche part of the game. They made a positive change and you are turning it into a negative. You are explaining a 1 percenter problem.
    I am in the part of the game where I already have all 46 weapons. So I am also just looking for God rolls, but in the bigger picture we just want more people to play the game.

    Every negative narrative being pushed by our most visible members of the Outriders community become the talking point.
    I have already heard this point a few times already. Very few players are at the point where they are farming God rolls. Most people are farming their first drop of a specific item.
    I know it was your honest opinion based on your personal experience, but it seems the visible figures on Reddit and YouTube are increasingly negative.
    Just a few just having fun in this ridiculously fun game.

  4. There is only one peeve i have about the anti-dupe system; i only have one Deathshield… and it's a godroll i got from the appreciation package, see where i'm going here?? I don't have the mod… this means that to get a new Deathshield to get the mod from i would need to dissmantle my godrolled one and hope i get a new godrolled Deathshield. Now this is the ONLY downside for me though as i have a lot of legendaries still to get.

    Edit: Sometimes one should really look through the comments before writing something, i didn't adn so i missed the comments from Semi and Christopher Bryan, thank you for explaining about other characters!

  5. Thx for video! Although its your opinion on the reroll issue, i’m glad they’re trying to implement some improvement that will benefit the 99+% of players who aren’t just hunting for god rolls at this point

  6. You will still get duplicate item quite easy, if you think about it from another angle. Using your death shield example, you were assuming your first roll is a death shield but it’s more likely your first roll is NOT death shield, you actually get another chance to roll death shield on second try. So at the end it doesn’t matter. From the games I played today, I still got more duplicate than new item.
