How do I prepare for this if I didn't play after beating the campaign? Do I have to play current end game to prepare for this or can I just jump in on release?

i have a few questions If you or anybody that has played the beta can tell me id appreciate it.
1. are there some troves specifically for weapons/ weapon types? or just for armor types?
for example, could I get a trove specifically for shotguns to farm for an Anemoi or death shield?
I get a lot of legendary armor drops when I play solo in expeditions but I almost never get weapons.
I have had to buy a lot of weapons from the vendor because I feel like I get armor way more often than weapons.
2. is the map kind of random? for example if I take the first trove on 1 run and that is for helmets will the next run be the same trove with helmets or is there a chance that it is different?
Is the map random or is it a similar layout each time and the room is random? They showed a kind of map but i couldnt tell if it was randomized or not. im sure this is NDA but just wondering.
3. Is Valak a boss in the trials so i can beat his ass again?
