I soloed gold rank on Frontline two more times in a row with similar time so even though it’s close it’s still pretty consistent. I’m 20ish seconds away from silver but that’s still a lot more leeway I’ve learned than when you’re only 1 second away each time lol. In other words I’d say this build can RELIABLY solo gold on Frontline which is one of the hardest expeditions too.
And that is frankly very good for dps on this build when you see what it’s all invested in so without further ado:
This is my ultimate TANK/SUPPORT Technomancer build yet as you see it still does good damage. May not be as good as the best dps builds but it’s definitely good and means I’m not keeping the team down too much on timing (as you see with all my “tank” builds I find it’s still central to figure ways to stack dps on them so I’m doing my intended job well without being a burden either).
First off are the skills. Cold Snap for mass freeze obviously. It activates my skill leech heals from the damage mod (really just a second instant max health again with fixing wave). Most importantly I max it’s cooldown with status power so I truly keep the lower mobs eternally frozen practically while slowly killing them off too as I focus on the elites. I also have the double boosted vulnerability on everything it freezes which also lasts for ages with status power.
So combine all that and I’m basically healing myself, helping everybody take less damage from the freezes as well as do more damage from the vulnerability.
Then most of my damage comes from the freeze bonus stacks on my mods and skill tree coupled with alternating AoE damage with my weapon mods you see.
I use the Cyro turrets for further freezing and damage and also due to fixing wave.
Fixing wave is actually awesome for utility support too as it keeps my turrets healed meaning I can actually sometimes strategically place them since I rarely have to recast them unlike most technos you see.
Fixing wave obviously heals both me and my teammates back to full health which with max cool down on it DOES sometimes save my teammates I notice in expeditions. But also, the health regen mod you see is key as it not only benefits my team more but myself the most. The amount of regen you get from it is based off your max health which is MAXED for me. And it lasts almost as long as my very cool down for the skill!
This leads me to explaining finally why I don’t use Borealis armor if it’s not obvious yet. I’m still soloing golds for one even doing less damage and that’s partly due to me having less cooldown on my skills allowing me to keep the freezes up longer and, therefore, my bonus damage on frozen targets.
But most importantly borealis by focusing on firepower and weapon damage over health and cooldown means my custom armor picks are clearly far superior for tanking.
If that’s not enough you see I have a weapon leech pistol for further regen bonuses when needed, though you see I never needed it even in this hard expedition plus I have a potential self resurrecting ability. As you also see I chose my weapons carefully by only going for this with status power and skill leech for further freeze duration boosts and regen. If Heir and Damascus Offering had weapon leech too they’d be perfect but we can’t have everything and, as you see, i don’t really need it anyway. I have 20% weapon leech just as a base amount already. Between my health bar, health regen mod, self resurrection, freezing, and damage for that matter, I realized I didn’t need to obtain any extra weapon or skill leech beyond the base techno amount they already receive as a class to still be invincible.
In conclusion, this is the perfect build for those who want to play support without getting kicked but still be able to solo and tank when desired.
