Outriders: Clues Point To An Expansion Announcement At E3

I believe that the stars are aligning between hints and Square Enix singing Outriders’ praises that we are about to hear about an expansion of the game, either with DLC or a larger addition. Probably something announced at E3. Here’s why I think this is where we’re heading, despite the game’s current problems.

  1. Agreed on all your points! I too thought the story was good especially as you start getting past 25%, then snowballed. Some of the locations became much better as well. Its tough building a whole new world, lore, etc but I truly feel Outriders has a very strong potential future….. if, they fix everything and adjust other things. I have my fingers crossed.

  2. The game is great. Gameplay mechanics are awesome and super fun. The modding and different classes feel uniquely enough to offer really great experience across the board. Yeah, bugs and all we all get it. I am happy it’s a success and they are investing into this franchise. I think people forgot what a hot mess Destiny was at the beginning.

  3. Interesting comment about the finish rates of games.
Probably some combination of low attention spans, too many new games, games that are too long and the vast amount of other entertainment options.

  4. Square Enix got whatever it needed form Outriders so why not throw a half baked DLC and get more money out off it….they still living in wonderland telling a million players playing this buggy mess which if given time could have been great experience…
Also to hell with the Not a Live Service part …

  5. The game does need better matchmaking for expeditions, any time I jump right into an ongoing expedition, I'm happy with it. If they can just get people to play one, and move on to another one, that's what I'm looking for. I don't need to go back to camp constantly. Better connectivity would be of help as well. Legendary drops probably need to be higher, they're blocking people from finding the fun there.

  6. No raids please big pass on that let’s not mushrooms this destiny that’s why people left to much stuff locked behind raids like weapons that a lot of people don’t have time to or can’t get so please no it won’t be fair to a lot of people and the destiny raid system is really toxic

  7. I feel for the people that paid for this game and didn’t get what they paid for. I don’t know why we continue to feed the machine that don’t give a two fucks about us. If they did care, we would get better than what we get. Almost everything that was supposed to be worth while this last six, seven months has been trash and hasn’t really earned our attention, or at least mine.

  8. Im optimistic about this game…I preordered it and haven't played it yet…been hooked on destiny. However if everyone would be respectful and pleasant to the devs they may do more in the future. Being rude never got anything moving imo.

  9. SqEx is shamed, not pleased. They screwed up the launch by rushing it and failing to allocate enough resources to it. They destroyed the dev's ratings and reputation and lost sales with their rushed, hamfisted, underfunded, invasive garbage netcode. "But we tested it"… yeah bs. Talented current and prospective dev teams must be looking at this and wondering if SqEx is a good publisher to be with.

  10. I keep getting 1-2 legendary items per solo ct14 clear. Maybe 1 in 10 runs I don’t get any. It’s almost guaranteed I get 0 from a solo ct15 clear. Maybe pcf moved a decimal point in the wrong direction for ct15

  11. And now it's 25% off across all platforms. A tad late for an April Fool's joke? Maybe if they hadn't started nerfing things from the get-go (nerfs in a demo? really?) then there wouldn't be so many broken threads unravelling.
