Working through the platinum now by myself. The mechanics are definitely noticeable while playing it but once I got the controls set to what worked for me I’ve enjoyed it ever since
Been planning on getting this for a while. Currently working through some long games in my backlog though and I feel like this will be a grindy commitment. I'm fine with that but im gonna wait until I can focus on it properly. Plus the price will probably go down by then 😀
Platinumed this with a mate bit back, pretty average but fun co op and has decent combat mechanics to be fair to it. Wait for the skill grind at the end for the plat though 🤢

I played this at launch and slowly got the plat. My natural comparison is to destiny, because I never played division. It pretty much falls short for me in every aspect when I compare the two, but I did enjoy linking up and playing with my old mates. I mainly agree with what you said in the video and don't particularly recommend for or against it.

I put so many hours into Outriders when it came out and I managed to grind it out and get the Platinum

I 100% this game on steam as i unfortunately dont have a ps4 to plat it (im still playing on my ps3 super slim, hoping for ps5 to release a slim version, feelsbadman). This game is best to play coop, but god the skill/gun glitch is bloody annoying, especially when doing tier 12+ bosses. I played as a technomancer (toxic build) and when my skills dont work, im pretty much dead meat. My build heavily relies on blighted rounds for infinite ammo/dmg amplifiers and if i get the skill glitch, it cuts my dmg down by 80%. This game is probably my 2nd favourite coop game, 1st is Remnant from the Ashes.
My only other complaint besides the glitches, is its a looter game, im not a fan of constantly managing my inventory due to max capped slots. Also, the LEGENDARY drop rates are so low jesus.
In terms of the platinum, its pretty easy especially with friends. The only tedious/hard ones i remember at the top of my head are the mastery of ur class specific accolades trophy which will just make you solo grind/farm enemy hoards on the lowest world tier and the dlc trophy that needs you to beat the new expeditions, if you are undergeared then you are fooked lol. I dont remember doing collectibles, if its about unlocking the files, thats easy, you just need to progress through the story for new characters and fight new enemies.
I took my time and listened to the story, its quite generic but it was interesting enough that it made me watch all the cutscenes.
Edit: theres this dumb glitch where your inbox is locked, i still cant get my pre order bonus since LAUNCH! Anyways im done with this game, would recommend for both trophy hunters and casuals. A few tips: aim at their heads, those armoured tanky enemies are gonna eat up all your bullets. And make sure to use auto pickup items key! I dont know if consoles have it, no more spamming pickup key/button. Lastly, CC skills are your best friend, saved me many times.
I'm enjoying it. Got it on sale for 20 on steam. Told a buddy it's cross platform and he got it on ps4 for 16 at a used game store. For that price we are having an amazing time
This game is best described as Anthem. Don't buy inless it's free. Definitely don't listen to this bum that may have been payed off by the devs. This game is still my mosted hated of 2021 and Anthem I hate that to!
