  1. honestly what they should be doing is scale and buff and adjust AP skills across the board change some of the skills in the skill tree to accomodate and make up for any sort of loss from fortress buff the fuck out of specific sets for AP in general so it can be pretty competitive against bullet builds and to top it off remove or adjust timers in expeditions to make up for dps race issues and speed runs for more variety if they did that i would be definitely DEFINITELY okay with a fortress nerf

  2. So they're effectively going to nerf all Ap builds along w/ the nice cherry on top of kicking tricksters in the taint as well. Most of which have a hard time keeping up w/ typical techno firepower builds as is. So you can bet the next nerf talk will be on them.
    Meanwhile there are sooo many legendary sets that were rolled out w/ nonsensical stats or worse completely non-functional or partially non-functional set bonuses. Those combined w/ the speed running dmg over everything end game loop makes only very specific builds shine as is.. & now they want to nerf 70% of those as well as a large amount of fun off meta builds. Why they can't just extended gold timers to allow for more build variety while continuing to rectify stuff that needs very obvious reworks/buffs is beyond me.

  3. Very good points, I don't know why when a game is focused on PVE, needs nerfs when all they could do is just buff other things to even playing ground. I mean if something is broken or not as intended sure, I can see a change to it, but nerfing things cause they are strong is just a bad idea.

  4. Yeah I disagree with them they’re trying to do this now but at least they’re going to be buffing things up when/ if they do actually nerf fortress. The new version of fortress sounds terrible and will just make people not want to use it (atleast with the timers as it is now) but it sounded like they’re strongly considering changing the end game and either taking timers away or adding a new game mode. I know this change doesn’t make sense right now but it seems like they have something big up their sleeves and these changes may make sense down the road like they have previously mentioned in a few of their recent patch notes. Atleast that’s what I’m hoping!
    Ps: it’s nice seeing you do videos about gaming news while showing your face every once and awhile makes it feel a bit more genuine (especially when it’s going over patch notes or is just a discussion)

  5. I have no confidence in an of PFC's attempts to "balance" this complete mess. They want the ONLY viable builds to be FP in single player and possibly pyro debuff in multiplayer. They seem hellbent on pissing off the remaining player base to finally kill the damn game.

  6. I completely agree with you & TFM & have been watching & supporting you both since the beginning of Outriders. I said this on TFM stream.

    Timers are the 1st issue & other play modes like survival waves are what is necessary to fix their PERCEIVED meta issues. The next is that clearly PCF have a way in mind that they saw us playing this game & we aren't following their plan. So is it just me or does it almost feels as if PCF is the kid at recess who didn't get make the rules to the game being played with their ball so they take it back & boot the ball out of the yard & into the street so that nobody can have fun with it?!

    As I've said before PCF may have intended for Fortress to be a certain way but it has taken on its own life own just like the whole game & you can't take away what is now how the game is played. If PCF make nerfs at this point the game is surely done 100%! Moaning Winds at the most should be changed to be only possibly used on 2 weapons at a time but DON'T nerf it at all! (Coming from someone who has only used Moaning Winds in the beginning of the game). Fortress can be used in any build & its full use is only attained once you're able to upgrade armour to level 48 – 50 so how could it be a problem is still earned in endgame?! That's just foolish! You can give us more options but you can't nerf & take away what is now an enjoyable way for so many people to play. Honestly if I'm forced to play a different way it will finally be time for me to call it quits, not because I would want to but because being forced to play any way goes against everything the game was advertised as & stood for! Nerfs are the nail in the coffin, I'm calling now! I guarantee it! The changes PCF are "wanting to discuss" with the Outriders community are easy to fix if PCF buffed everything up to Fortress & Moaning Winds. How in the world if this has been an issue could PCF not just give all mods the same final amount of damage. So if it's D.O.T. then it's spread over that amount of time & if it's A.O.E. then it just can't reach the amount of damage that S.T. mod can reach per target & is spread to all targeted enemies in whatever effect the mods takes. Therefore all mods would automatically always be equal. Just make final damage the same amount, so area damage is should never be as high as S.T. & D.O.T. damage should only ever equal up to what S.T. can do. Clearly PCF is forcing us how they want us to play even though we're supposed play in any way we want from what they said. So annoyed there's been no buff to Venstors Knife but a whole bunch to the mod most Trickster gun builds use. I play off the meta instead of being rewarded like they suggest they. Outriders you're a few bad moves away from losing 1 of the biggest fans you had & who got about 20 different people to play & I'm sure they got people to play as well. No more NERFS only buffs three games has for certain fine beyond the original dream you had for it so stop handcuffing the with your preconceptions & PLEASE JUST LISTEN? I guarantee if you don't when Project: Magnum arrives you will be the new Anthem, I'm scared of that & really don't want that but you're only a few moves away from that as a certainty! Your last ideas aren't very useful to what us lasting players want & need to keep the excitement in the game. Thus any new weapons would just follow these parameters & would have to be balanced by the nature & design of the system. Then any build could be viable if modded correctly because the damage would scale properly.

    Keep the mods that people like the way they are & make the others more desirable. In the end some mods will always be end up being the most chosen. How could that not happen?

  7. This is fairly disappointing. I see how many people have tried to min/max a build with not using legendary sets. And fact is many of the legendary sets are not terribly usable with how they're currently constructed, and most people can't get a full set anyway. sigh
