Well…100% increased drop chance doesn't mean there will be 100% more legendaries.
It just means that a legy with a 0.01% chance to drop, now has a 0.02% chance to drop.
That does NOT lead to double the amount of legendaries whatsoever.
There's a "little" difference between "increased" and "more" drops for whatever
So the drop rates goes from 0.1% to 0.2%? Lmao

Majority of epic weapons are superior and only the tier 3 mods are viable.
They need to give huge buffs to legendary weapons.
Remove the resource cost to enter T 15!!

Ah the ol' idiot logic of it being "bad for the game" if people to actually get the stuff they are farming for. Conveniently ignoring the fact that 95% of players left precisely because they couldn't get the stuff they were grinding. Even getting their characters nuked wasn't the finalstraw as long as they had hopes that the loot would be fixed. A live service game doesn't operate on trying to stop players getting the stuff they are after. That's just plain suicide! Destiny even had to add drop protection to make people even bother to play raids and the harder grandmaster nightfalls (super grindy) content. Why? Because it turns out gamers like grinding for god rolls NOT grinding endlessly just to get the items to drop at all! Outriders missed the memo it seems. Even though Anthem died due to stingy loot and even Destiny and The Division went though well documented rough patches when they got loot stingy while trying to artificially boost their player engagement numbers. So no stopping people from completing their sets and getting weapons for their builds is never a strategy any looter should try to do. People simply are not that dumb as to endlessly grind for something they can never get.
PvP would bring all the players back

Get 1 legendary , get acc wipe by 5 legendarys , get 3 L drops get full account wipe
Get Cannonball , reroll to another cannonball

Not enough to get me to come back. This should of been done at least a month ago. I've beat everything in the game with purples and a couple t3 mods while grinding for legs I wanted. No point in playing until there is more content, that ship has sailed.

I ride on the game with the aoe pyromage and I die in a loop (often) with the technomancer especially in expeditions where we get shot.
I hadn't played since May 5 and only logged in a couple of days ago, out of curiosity, for the appreciation package. My Trickster had Grim Marrow and Thunderbird equipped, with a Reaper in my Inventory. I found 3 "new" god-rolled legendaries in my inventory: Grim Marrow, Thunderbird & Reaper. Logged out. But so much for PCF being up front and transparent when they now admit certain item(s) were time-gated! 100% drop rate increase ? more chance of Cannonball then? The game cost me AUD$90 – just a tad less than 180 hours played so 50c/hour; I'm good. Onward.
Ppl nowadays have bad cases of adhd. Got bored easily and don’t stick with something anymore. I have adhd and don’t act like it. SMH.
Are you joking me the reason why I can't sign in 5 seconds faster cuz they don't want to improve loot drops are you effing kidding me I would take a longer sign in time with all those loot drop improvements any day of the effing week are they dumb or just ignorant
I never stopped playing. This is a fun game with lots of potential. Just hopefully they just stick with the plan to add to this game.
Just a thought – but for those still unable to sign in they will have missed out on the first appreciation package and may not be able to even get the second one if that issue still persists.
all the drops in the world wont matter if they dont fix the insta death bug( still nothing on fixing this bug)
Yeah always annoying when I join a player and he has like world tier 6. U should always play until world tier 15 because the 5 4 last lvl will give u 100% legendary with every tier upgrade. U don’t wanna miss out on those. Ppl play until world tier 15 smh. Lazy fuckers.

Yeah isn’t it funny that a game developer tells how the game is intended to be played or works and then ppl get mad being told it that way? Well u guys didn’t make the game. All u just do is bitch and complain. I think it is art what they making and doing this to enter us. And all we doing is undermining their art and there way to entertain us? We are very unappreciative and spoil and take the right to bitch when we aren’t even making a game nearly as good or a game at all. We have no right to say anything if we don’t do it better and haven’t accomplished anything in game development. At this point they will have to gave Free DLC for players to come back to play it. * that is if you can login and play with not connected issues is the key ! Legendary rate 0.0001 rate at 100% 0.0002 rate ! Yahoo! I have enough Cannonball outfits and MAX HEALTH rolls on Legendary gear pieces to open up my own store. *they need to make it you able to Break down legendary for 1 token. With 20 token, you can go buy a pieces that you want form Diego. Simple fixed.

Sooooo what if you had disintegrator before, the package comes around and now you get standard dual pistol legendary with THE SAME MODS as the damn disintegrator? I mean although I haven’t had these pistols before, that’s still a huge slap in the face because they do the exact same thing, just a different gun variant. Idk about anyone else but to me that’s a load of bull. Vice-versa with the lightning assualt rifle and lightning tactical sub machine gun if anyone had that happen
Hold on. No we don't have loads of legendary drops. The base rate is soooo low say 0.01 so multiplying that by 100 is still 1%. Is all bullshit wake up ffs. Once again devs talk shit and people don't see the bigger picture.

100% increase of a very low percentage chance is still a very low figure so don't expect it to be raining legendary items folks!!
And the "its the players fault, you don't understand" claim is laid bare by the admission there is a "luck" mechanism in place AND that certain gear is gated behind levels. So many people have wasted so much time grinding for gear when the game had already decided they wouldn't get the items they were looking for!!!
Unfortunately it's well to late I had really good hope for anthem o sorry I mean outriders but they didn't make no effort into making proper fixes to the game fly can fly have a skill limit and this game broke them they should sell wots left of outriders to a dev team with way more skill like bungie Activision anyone would be better I've deleted this game from my xbox as its just taking up useful space.

Why is everyone annoyed at how late it is rather late than never if they wanna pull out dlc and outriders 2 they need to fix things just because you’ve had to farm with low luck for 2 and a half months and are annoyed with the game. They are clearly trying to please people they are clearly trying to work quickly but the company is working on other stuff as well give PCF a break they get so much hate weekly
The legendaries drop rate, outside of CT14-15, is ridiculously low. I had 1 (One!) legendary drop in my 3 play-throughs of the campaign that wasn't part of the guaranteed legendary drops. One measly drop and that was mostly playing on World Tier 15. Plus 425% legendary drop rate my ass!
So, I am not impressed with a 100% increase at all. Doubling a ridiculously, ludicrously low drop rate is not enough in my opinion.
I’m waiting for more content and balance changing tbh. For starters they can make a reason to do eye of the storm. Literally anything that can improve a fully geared char. PCF atm are at the mercy of the player base. They’ve kinda fully bent over and are doing anything to put bandaids on issues to please us. They aren’t really doing anything for quality of the game. Still need servers if this is their new franchise game lol.
they said this is a one-and-done game so that'll be good defense ship within a time that makes sense
