After EA just announced that Anthem is dead in the fucking water and unlike Bioware being a bunch of lying scumbags, the devs of Outriders have been pretty open with WHAT you get in the game.
It's not following a "Games as a service" model
It's a single/multiplayer third person looter shooter with really complex customization, competent gunplay and a really interesting approach to endgame (ergo, actually caring about how overpowered you can become and creating unique expeditions where you can actually use your maxed out builds without outright deleting everything in sight)
It looks like it takes all the best parts of most looter shooters out there (weapon rarity from borderlands, mods from warframe, equipment upgrading from the division, etc) and i'm really excited to see if we'll finally get that looter shooter which will break the mold and the bad press the genre has gotten.
Hell it reminds me of Remnant: From the Ashes and that game came out of nowhere, AA developers are really outshining AAAs these days..

Hardcore Division 2 player here. I plan on checking this out, but without PVP, I'm not expecting much.

Most important don't listen to shiltuber. You certainly wouldn't be a commanding officer more like a chef.
I'll be trying the demo but here are a few items I'm concerned about
1. Not open world based.
2. No planned DLC at this time
3. No PvP

Awsome as usual bud, so looking forward to this as div has been main game played. Love the look and have been soaking up all the content that is out there to get ready for the carnage, this for me is going to be going back to basics. Games like bullet storm, whitch were my main focus as well as hord base games were my thing. So this is going to be like a duck to water for me witch is a breath of fresh air. Just hope this game lives up. This could be an awsome experience. Heres hoping I am right. Be safe bud. And see you on the gore side….👍👍👍👍👍

tried demo, its crashing when i checking inventory( if its not crashing when i open it, it is when i am closing it.)anyway i liked the combat, this feels like remnant from ashes but with bit more budget and content put to it.

I've put about 7 hours in to "Outriders" thus far. May takeaway is this: It's "Gears of War" with superpowers. And it is glorious!
I got one of my "The Division 2" clan mates to run some co-op with me. We were so engrossed, we never realized two and a half hours had passed. This is one of the most full-bodies experiences I've gotten from a so-called 'demo' in some time.
The developers have also been generous enough to allow you to keep your current progress if you decide to buy the full game in April 2021. But I don't recommend pre-ordering. The industry hasn't earned that privilege again yet. #NoPreOrders
Conclusion: Play the demo and then decide for yourself if "Outriders" is worth your money. For me, it's a buy.
Combination of division and gears of war with a little bit of anthem.
Wish it had 4 person co-op instead of 3.
Played 8 hrs with multiple crashes. Demos and first start up games have issues, remember division 1.Game has potential
