  1. Ppl like my sister would just give their ipad or iphone to their kids instead of actually interacting with them. It's like a mobile TV they can bring when they visit. We didn't have an issue with it because we didn't want to take over her laziness and watch my nephews 100% of the time. I hope they all end up with spine issues, including them 😛 I don't play console anymore, I ascended this year, but hopefully the marketing in that draws them in, to get off their phones.

  2. Joe do you think I have the time, the care or the patience for you to tell me I can't play Call of Duty mobile or any other mobile like console game? I don't give a darn, I'm going to play the game because I believe it's easier to play on mobile then consul.

  4. You know; I'm not one of those cynics that's just all "videogames suck now" or "videogames are dead" even, like there's nothing good happening in the gaming-world (most people are just looking in the wrong place), but basically, almost every episode of AJS News is just a bunch of "FUCK"! XD

  5. 3:32 – Or you could just play "Left 4 Dead" once in a while… – That said, I'm not sure I'm liking what "they" are doing with 'Back 4 Blood' though… They were on about bringing it back to basics or whatever, but it doesn't look like it… It's more like they want to make "Left 4 Dead" more like current-gen crap, and I'm not talking about the engine.

  6. 14:34 – The best day would be when all those gambling-addicts, or- excuse me, "FIFA players", will wake up from the Matrix and stand up against their abusers. – And I'm only exaggerating with the word "abusers" a little bit, because the way they treat their customers borders on social problems and whatnot. – I know, corporations are corporations, but the same way people want the monetization within videogames to be regulated, I feel like corporations should also be held responsible for how they manipulate people mentally and so forth. – Same counts for companies that try to brainwash people into living off junk food and such. I mean, tobacco/cigarette-advertisements have been banned, at least in places like Formula 1 or racing. – But now they're plastered with energy drink brands and such, which are almost just as bad. – They just get away with it because there haven't been enough studies or laws to say "You can't do this because it's harmful." and companies can say "It's people's free choice to take it or leave it.". – Meanwhile, they have a monopoly because of money and they can brainwash people with their presence. – To come back to videogames and FIFA, they're practically doing the same; They're encouraging people, especially young people, to gamble and waste their lives on braindead money/soul-sucking machines to feed the capitalists.

And yes, while there's amazing stuff in the world, I hate this day and age, the late 20th and early 21st century. – I wish I didn't live in this age of junk/fast-food and corporate entertainment. – I try to steer clear as much as possible and just do my own little thing, from getting good foods and products to the kind of entertainment that has more heart and deserves attention and support. – But that's just me and it's sad to see the majority of the world just give in and live ignorantly. – I don't know everyone, but still I wish better for people than to just go nuts over CARD-PACKS IN FUCKING FIFA! – I USED TO PLAY THAT GAME FOR THE GAME IN THE LATE '90s AND I DON'T EVEN LIKE FOOTBALL! – STOP FEEDING CORPORATIONS WHO ABUSE YOU! – Thank you.

  7. The devs at raven saying cheating is ruining their hard work is total bullshit to cover their ass. They put out nothing but crappy skins. Their whole studio could pressure Activision to license a third party anti cheat. Also raven has done nothing but broke everything when they took over. I have no more sympathy or excuses for game devs that won't do what is right and necessary.

  8. Overwatch "popularized loot boxes." I don't know Alex.

Overwatch IS explicit about it. Maybe they were the most explicit about what they were doing.

But, the mechanic is old. Popular MMORPGs had been doing similar pay mechanics for years. Hell, cigarettes in the 1800s would have collectible pack-ins that people tried to obtain.

Magic: The Gathering, or really any TCG players know this mechanic well.

If anything, China is the one who popularized loot boxes. Or, if we are talking multiplayer hero shooters, Team Fortress 2 popularized it in the west when it went F2P.

Overwatch just blew up into competitive play in spite of its lootbox system. Primarily, like TF2, it's because it's all cosmetic, and it's sad if you buy them. I have over 500 Overwatch loot boxes unopened, and I've never wanted to purchase one.

They give you spray paints and skins and emotes. And you get SO many.

So yeah, I don't agree. I think MMOs, China, and TF2 "popularized" loot boxes.

Thank you for coming to my TEDTalk.

  9. Dont know why Poland, but my guess is because Xbox has a larger market share in Poland than other other countries in Europe and they want to see how effective it is in enticing people to switch?

  10. I just wanted to say thank you to the Angry Joe for the up to date reporting in the news segment. You lads have helped me find stories which have contributed to a few University assignments I have written on the dangers of gambling hidden in online games, particularly for children. I have always enjoyed your content and have been a viewer for many years. You have certainly saved me plenty of money over the years and I am going to buy a one of your shirts on Rogues Apparel to say thank you. I am not hugely into Patreon, displate or YouTube memberships, so I appreciated this way to repay you for your excellent and honest work. Much obliged to you lads!

  11. I always see streams from diamond dynasty (MLB) Myteam (NBA) and ultimate team (fifa) of streamers out there who do no money spent squads on the ultimate team modes. Usually they're fairly good at the game and do well without spending a dime. So you don't HAVE to spend a dime. There's just people out there who are inclined to fast forward progress to a op team. The morals behind loot boxes are still scummy, though.

  12. To the outriders topic: Word goes arround that if you kick a person from your game before the loot said loot of the kicked person is shared between the other two people in the group. I don't think this is a thing and it's more like "Kill Baron in the middle of the room for higher chances to get his mount.".

  13. 9:23 if people are wondering that’s from Love death robots a Netflix cgi series essentially like black mirror, or more closely Animatrix. If you haven’t watched it and are into things like that watch it it’s worth it.
