  1. Yeah, usefulness of range does fall off for units that are already not super-accurate. These are best off as a powerful addition to an army, rather than a stack. Sort of like wizards; you micro them to do lotsadamage while the rest of the army survives or shoots or does whatever that doesn't require much micro.

  2. Would be funny to see Legends reaction to this since he already gave the thunderbarge doomstack 12/10 and quoted it 'the best currently possible doomstack in game'. This right here has way more damage and utility

  3. I wonder if an engineer doomstack could take on a thunderbarge doomstack. They're small enough to dodge most of the projectiles. Kind of hard to dodge spears of grungni, though…

  4. i think the description of the +3 outriders is just lazy copy and paste of coding/traits, there are a couple of hero's in the dlc that have traits that improve a "Lord's Army" as opposed to "hero's army" but the hero is not a lord so it has 0 effect, im assuming whatever fuck up happened there is the same fuck up in the tech tree, i think they rushed the dlc out despite pulling back the due date, and still ya get that type of shit, aside from those nit picks, been really enjoying the dlc thus far

  5. This army would be better if you had 2 or 3 fewer amethyst outriders, 2 or 3 fewer engineers, and replaces them with 5 or 6 regular outriders. That would solve the single entity problem. Grenadiers for infantry, rifles for monsters. Also, the army genuinely would have done better if you'd had them on fire at will most of time. You had plenty of range, and were sacrificing efficiency by having too many of them target the same unit. They're fast enough to easily get away, and if they need to hide just have them face away.

  6. You of course can recruit multiple faction leaders as the game goes on, especially easy with empire since they confederate easily. The wording could be improved but it does make sense because of what they put in the brackets.

  7. per army/per faction leader im guessing has to do with how the game words things, or it may have just been bad working for the ability,it will probaby get edited in the next update, since that updaate will be changing the default amounts amathyst and then giving research to increase them.

  8. Every amethyst unit type is a doomstack in its own way. Ive had several amethyst ironsides get charged by multiole units of grail knights, kill most before they got there, and beat the rest in melee lol without losing a model lol
