After spending over 30 hours with Outriders on PC, Iβm finally ready to bring you all my non biased, honest review of not only the game, but my overall experience with it since getting my hands on it for the first time. Once again, big thanks to Square Enix for gifting me a key to play it. Iβve tried to keep this review as spoiler free as possible, but please do let me know if I messed up anywhere. Enjoy π

I don't think the game is too hard if you maximize your build every new level and world tier level. But that's the main issue I see with Outriders. You have to swap gear too frequently. If you get a legendary and level up you need to spend titanium or the next blue you get will be better. Same with the armor and you just don't get enough titanium to support all your gear all the time. I love the game. I love the builds but I spend too mutch time in the crafting menu. For a normal playthrou that is.
1. BL3 performance is still dogshit even after removing Denuvo which made it worse
2. Gunplay feels really weird from what that I remembered from demo, weird camera shakes that simulates recoil PATHETIC comparing to the Division gunplay
3. After lots of fixing, price drops it will be worth it to try
4. Unreal Engine is really looking good engine but dude why every fucking game have always the same problems with performance or blurry and pixalated rendering
In my opinion from couple of reviews and demo it's 4-5/10, I was hyped for new looter shooter game that will be worth your time. It's like Anthem but with loot and many more things to do.
I will give the game second chance when the price drops and later on see if it is 6-7/10
it looks cool, I will wait a while before i think about buying it though π
who the fuck id destiny when borderlands exists anyway
It's OK the farming mechanic turns me off
Honestly the crashing has now stopped only time I've crashed is quitting to lobby
It's probably the most average game I've played in years ,special mention to the rubber banding difficulties.
I oddly like this inconsistency in enemy health, damage and so forth it adds another layer of difficulty in my opinion also to me it offers everything bl3 lacks meaningful legendarys and a challenging game
It's weird seeing a "serious" video from you Epic lol great review though
I'm a sucker for loot-based games and I've only played the demo on ps4 but from what I've seen I liked the game but I'm waiting until the price goes down. The gameplay is pretty nice but the uninteresting story and characters plus the crashes and bad lip synch of the characters and subtitles not keeping up has told me to wait on the price drop. I'm hoping to buy a PS5 later on this year and I'll hopefully have a better experience of the game on that console.
I never had any issues with BL3.
I'll get it in 5 months when you say the servers will be fixed thanks…
I agree with what you said about the difficulty of the game
If your on the original Xbox one the game will crash a lot Xbox one s and x work really well though
i really like the ability to level up gear. this means pre-order weapons can be used later on instead of being forgotten about like borderlands 2 gearbox weapons.
I feel like its gotta be something with certain rigs because I've had zero crashes and heard no report of mass crashes. I could be mistaken but idk.
I haven't played the game, but your Review was really good! I just disagree that since lag(server issues) is going to be later fixed, it shouldn't be shown as a game flaw. While It should, not due to the game itself, but so Square Enix and others understand that it is unacceptable to release a game in such terrible state. Nonetheless, great video bro, really loved it!
Iβm not trying to defend the crashes but if your able to excuse crashes and occasional quality drops then itβs an amazing game
I only played it once on controller and for some reason the aim assist goes to the enemies stomach, if you were to aim at an enemies head aim assist takes it down to the enemies stomach.
I agree with the enemy difficulty is crazy I was stuck on WT 6 forever I mean I expected it maybe in the teens but at 6 is a little ridiculous, but other then that Im loving the game so far
I tried the demo and just the poor-looking cinematics suggested to me that this game wasn't the quality I had expected. I thought the gameplay loop would be enough to make up for it but it just wasn't that satisfying.
No offense, but "no stakes" review (didn't buy the game but get free review copy instead) that have way more compliments than negatives tends to dissuade me from buying the game. Learned my lesson from Cyberpunk 2077. Gonna wait for a very low sale for this one.
I'm just stunned that after Borderlands 2 showed us that looter shooters can have great stories that people, like yourself, have been so conditioned to think that it's ok to have a trash story. Sad man, just sad to excuse these creatively bankrupt companies.
I played it honestly i think itβs garbage but thatβs just me destiny is way better
among us?????
Playing the demo for over 100 hours obsessive compulsively hunting for accolades enough that I bought the full game and started it with me earning my first nineteen achievements and working my way to earn the rest of the twenty-four achievements making Outriders my most recent Perfect Game on Steam! I hated the crashing but loved the combat and side quests! I especially loved the hunter, wanted, and historian missions! The game is a 7 out of 10 for me! Great video btw!
