If you're looking for certain mods for your build in Outriders then this is how you get every mod you want
I was doing that with a blue armor piece. After 2-3 time shutting down the game. When I logged back in. It was transformed and stuck at whatever purple before I shut it down. I was on a PS5.
Wow, this is a really long, boring, and painful experience. I don't have the patience to re-start the game a 100x lol…
on PC it is ALT + F4, but you have to load the game everytime from start.
The method is not reliable, at least not on PC. It works sometimes, other times, you have one of the tier 2 mods, and yet other times you have purple rarity and only original mod and no way to add another. usual outcome is scrapping the gear, but it may be worth doing for those that need it.
Keep in mind, as soon as you log back into the game go straight to the Dr while the autosave is going, if you wait for it to finish it will save your last mod selection before you force closed and your are SOL
You don't have to close your net on PC you can just alt f4 to close the game.
If they implemented the 'watermark' then the playerbase would drop too much.
I thought the perfect roll was bonus firepower,close range damage, long range damage
Returned to game after not being on last few days, however for some reason every equipped armour piece which was god roll purples, are now white!!
Every equipped weapon, which main was Thunderbird, other was purple and sidearm was blue, their now random white quality!!
How can they mess up so bad with restoration that it literally changes equipped items to different ones of lower quality?
I had not needed anything restoring since I lost nothing but now all my gear is garbage!!
I've reported it to them, but now doubt they'll want pointless details like my chromosome makeup, blood type and what I ate a month last Saturday!! 😂😂

This is no different than what borderlands does with mission rewards
Let's see how long it takes the devs to fix this since it helps the players.
Used to work, now it sometimes works, most of the time it does not work.
Another gift from People Can Nerf, this should definitely be fixed and just let players chose the mods they have accumulated over 20 plus hours.
Restricting and locking out one mod slot is not well received at all.
Just another situation that needs to be fixed.

PCF talked a good game initially but fell short of their promise. What, are all these game developers cut from the same cloth? They all make the same mistakes. PCF made Outriders specifically for multiplayers to enjoy, they then proceed to make the multiplayer experience the worse part of the game. You can't make this stuff up.
I tried this on Xbox yesterday the item remained purple and only had 1 mod on it when I signed back on .. so don’t know if it’s just me or if they fixed it but cheers to anyone it works for
I wouldn’t mind some T3 mods but I can only farm the hunts/bounties. Expeditions are far too buggy for me to run unless I want a controller in my TV screen.
I did this to set up a perfect faser beam build for pyro. U can farm the third section in trench town for some good greens. I think they patched it though cuz the last time I tried to hard close and come back, the gear had stayed at the higher rarity. My guy looks like a joke with all the crap green gear but he is stronger than if I had a full legendary set lol. It’s fun as heck though having a different strong build compared to the meta(heatwave/eruption).
Eventually, Dr. Zahedi should tell you, "Bro, stop wasting my time, just tell me what you want and let's be done with it already."
To make the game save just go to your inventory and unequip or equip something then back out.
Aah so it's like the AR glitch except just gear and less steps
Dude I love your videos, but don’t title the vid as GET ANY MOD, then within the first 20 seconds say this only works for tier 2 mods!!!
I've been using this on my trickster alt for a while now, i saw it as a simple 'non saved feature' 😀 But i still need to figure out how i did the modded reset thing, since i got several gear that i initialy upgraded on my deva (so first slot was deva mod), remodded it to say Absorber, then made it purple and it will stay first slot modded-locked. However at some point either giving it back or lvling it up, it reset and im now able to freely mod both slots again. No idea how i did it, or even replicate it.
Don't need to fast travel. Take an item from the stash or put something in it will trigger a save as well
Quick edit : make sure the saving logo appears 'cause sometimes it doesn' t. Just put an item back or pick up another one.
Does this still work for the auto rifle .?
Been trying to get bloodlust on a peice for fricking ever it seems. When you have 54 chances the odds are not in your favor to get what you exactly want.

Thier save points are horrible I learned this on accident when the gane ACTUALLY dashboard lol
Yeah maybe it's an exploit but this happens also if ur mate is the leader and u r upgrading and he leaves this will set the item back to green too
