Try a different button? Maybe the button mapped to different one, game breaking game that needs fixed ASAP,
After the cyberpunk problems having demo problems is a huge fuckup because if the demo bugged the game might be and that would put people off,
I've not tried demo yet
, wi tomorrow I was planning on pre ordering the game if Iiked the demo but if there is a single bug or crash I won't pre order I'll wait till after release and everything fixed.

hit the e key . i ran into the same issue after remapping. e is the default key and for some reason during dialogue the new keymap doesnt work.

Searching google, found your video, Outriders just rebooted my PC mid mission… like hard reset without warning. Nervous to even play it again.
the game is completely unplayable for me right now, It freezes as soon as the studio titles video plays. anyone else having this problem?
I cant play the game I hear the sound but the screen is black
I've experienced 2 bugs/glitches and more game breaking as well. First, enemies like boses (sometimes ads) when you kill them, they turn to like a molten blob that floats, but after a few sec. they respawn back. Lets say you go through a quest which requires you to kill all enemies, so, if one enemy keeps respawning that is game progression bug. Second, I experienced all of my inventory to disappear completely (except for the weapon and armour you have equipped) after getting a connecting to server issue. I went back and logged in and started the game back and noticed all my gear, including some legendaries i farmed for a long time just disappeared. So pissed!
I had a glitch where I bought the sale item in the shop, then a while later the game glitched out and kicked me out, I loaded back in and it remembered that I made the purchase, I sold several items and my currency count was correct, but the item wasn't in my inventory.

A simple solution is to press your windows key and pull up your hot bar and then just trace the mouse onto your “interact button” you have set to progress through the cutscene
You can have a controller connected so when you get these types of options, you can just select it with the controller and go back with M/KB after they finish

Yet another game calling it a demo when it's really a beta. I'm on Xbox One. I've had that same screen with all the random icons on the ground. I've also had other issues/bugs….. issues with the Outriders servers, multiple times when it freezes, characters & npcs with weird distortions & glowing mouths, & one of the times when it loaded in where there was no sound. On the 2nd day (the 26th), it kept kicking me out saying the person who "bought" it needed to log in…..I couldn't get it to play for almost 2 hours. For some of the issues, I've had to get out of the game/demo/beta completely & restart the game, then it's fine (mostly).
for info plugging in a controller as someone else suggested worked, just use the controller for the conversation bits and continue with KB/mouse for rest 🙂
The game is a lot of fun but damn I can hardly play more then fifteen minutes at a time. So many crashes just going in and out of inventory. The game runs great for me other than that.
So basicly people complaining that they cant play the game on an open system (that very much differs from user to user)…and the funny thing is that they are acting like its not to be expected🤣
I play on Xbox Series X and its almost flawless. And there are almost no loading times too so I cant relate😅
i have a bug where the game will just freeze and crash whenever i open up my inventory, it doesnt do it 100% of the time but it pretty common to where i literally am too scared to open my inventory and makes the game just painful to play sometimes
i cant see enemy incoming fire.i see it in youtube clips but not when i play.has anybody else had this issue?

I can't even play I keep getting a internet connection error at the start of the game where you get your powers I think during the running from the electric mission

Wasted 40 Minutes for this crappy and unfinished Demo…no, this is not even a Demo. A Demo is a FUNCTIONAL Part of an already finished Product. This here is definitely a BETA! Of a Demo!
Tried it on my High-End PC, an i9 9900k with an RTX 2080ti, 32gb Ram and a 3440X1440 144hz, HDR400 Monitor and a 4k TV and nothing worked! I watched the Intro and then tried to access the Character Editor with my working Xbox One Controller, when i noticed that there were no Reactions whenever i pressed a Button. I couldn't even navigate the Menus. Then i tried some other Games to see if i had perhaps faulty Accessories. No, everything works fine. Except for this "Thing"
After a while i dropped it from my SSD, but i didn't gave up yet, no Buddy, i tried once more. This Time with my PS5. Again, waiting 20 Minutes for ~18gb of Data. Done! Okay, so far everthing looks okay. Here we go, Automatic Login……Authentication in progress……..logged in………logged in…..logged in…..logged in….(went on for a bit more than three Minutes). Deleted the Demo right after that.
Yup, Ladies and Gentlemen, i "proudly" present you……*Drum roll*….. 🎊Cyberpunk 2077 2.0 the Beta-Demo!!! Tattatataaaaaaaaaa🎊
And with that said, no, i will NOT spent Money for this Game! Ever! Sorry Square-Enix, my most beloved Developer, but you can keep that Junk for yourself!

This game is actually a buggy mess, particularly with multiplayer. Shame it releases in 2 weeks. Another bug-ridden game release is what we really need! 🙁
