  1. Kinda sounded like you wanted a Warframe Challengers Edition? lol joking aside, i completely agree. I've played destiny since d1 launch, but the repetition of seasons, the same format over and over became really dull. There's always a 6 player matchmade activity thats a slight variation of the last season's, and the main gameplay loop revolves around doing that same activity over and over, while also forcing you to also go back and do the same old tired core strikes/gambit/crucible. It's the same format for every season since Beyond Light and i got tired of it and finally quit a few months ago.
Maybe spend the downtime exploring non-looter shooters for the next month or two. Forza has been really fun, if you enjoy driving games at all. Theres plenty of loot to chase in the form of cars and clothing and horns i guess. There's group pve and pvp as well, and some wacky events for fun. I've mostly been playing that and my backlog of single player campaign games. Guardians of the Galaxy was surprisingly good and i'm not a marvel fan usually. The Godfall campaign mode has been fun so far, haven't tried the endgame yet. Maybe try the Diablo games, lots of looting in those. There's gotta be some game out there to hold you over a month or two lol

  2. I hear you. I'm in a rut too. My only outriders goal is trying to get 11.3 max rolled gear on all my toons. I have 400+ hours (only because I couldn't get a refund when it was really bad). I basically grinded into god builds on each class out of spite. The problem is I'd actually like to make other builds like a healing, shield zap, firepower Pyro etc but it's so inconvenient to change builds due to lack of loadouts I can't be bothered. I quit D2 a few months ago when they started selling everything piecemeal. So I guess I'm just waiting for Deep Rock on console (the dwarf mining game). Maybe you try that?

  4. As you said the looter shooter genre is a niche one so at some point things will get repetitive regardless of any new content and most of that is down to the amount of hours up put in. To a point I envy those who can put those hours in and get all they need to make the better builds but then again having the amount of hours I do(which is not many) to put into these games I still have a lot to play and strive for even after say a year of playing it. Maybe the best thing to do is jump into another genres like rpg's and games like the fallout franchise, the witcher etc games you can sink ur teeth into for countless hours.

  5. Warframe the new war is end game content, its NOT for new players and they wanted to enforce that.

You shouldn't be able to instantly get to end game content cause why should you? Its END GAME content and they haven't done something like this since the war within

  7. Totaly agree with every thing you said, I've jumped back into FO76, I know, I know, but a lot had changed in 3 years. Love the content by the way, keep it up and gratz on the channel boost

  8. Man, Warframe just had the largest update of the year, and wrapped up a story quest that started six years ago. I know you just started with it and hopefully they drop cross play soon so you can get a bit more help.

  9. Today all the games has small cycle of life you must know what you bye only Rpg games worth to play because you play at least 100 hours and more. This games that you say is over along time ago if people play it is not for the loot but because they like it

  10. Cloud-san. There is only ONE option left. YOU make your own looter shooter game with a 100hr story line and 100hrs 0f end game and we call it: CLOUDRIDERS?

So if you start now, when is it done? Give us a eta.

  11. The new war are meant for late gamers or mid gamers, not for newbies, warframe on the contrary is heavily focused on newbies. Which makes it boring for veterans since they got nothing left to do except getting rich maybe. New war is a breather for the veterans since that's the only thing going for them rn. And it's unfair asf, if you think a person who put 8 years to it, to a 1 month person to be on equal footing.

  12. What are you talking about? Destiny 2 has the dawning and 30th anniversary, warframe just dropped content! Kingdom of amalur just dropped new content. Sorry to say my friend the year is coming to an end and this is the time when every thing is slow! 2022 is gonna be 🔥

  13. I'm gonna weigh in on Warframe because I finished the new quest yesterday…fact is, it's mindblowing and worth working toward. It is OBJECTIVELY incorrect a person needs to "no life the game for a year" in order to reach it, as working together with experienced players will speed that process a thousand fold, as they'll help direct you to what you'll need a hell of a lot faster. Should the game do a better job of that? Yes, absolutely, 100%. Until then, the community is right there. I tell people daily…use them, they'll help. Ask me or any other experienced player anything you're unclear about, the last thing we want is for newer players to MISS OUT on amazing quest content the game has to offer, because it's better than the entire looter genre by a country mile.

Especially content creators…you put up a "SPOILER: Second Dream Reaction" video…you're getting loads of views on that and a ton of new subs. I've seen it happen to plenty of other creators, those NEVER disappoint either viewers or creators themselves.😉

The only thing that's a frustrating roadblock is the Necramech, and if you're asking about some type of "booster" to help players "catch up" with 8 years of content, that's the best thing to just go and buy to smooth your way to the final quest. Everything else, though, is reasonable. The Railjack ship is built with basically paper clips and bubblegum now, so that's a short quest to build, super easy. But ultimately, The New War is ONE quest. At the END of the narrative. The other quests before it, like Second Dream, War Within, Chains of Harrow, and Sacrifice, take a fraction of the time to complete, and are ALSO mindblowing in a variety of ways, and are worth working toward.

I feel as if some people say the same thing about Final Fantasy XIV, though. "Well, it's boring and there's lot of talking and traveling and grinding my character levels," but the expansions that follow the slower early game story are well worth the time spent in the early game learning the ins and outs.

  14. Destiny 2 new dungeon is good and you can aquire new gear with extra slot…big moves for Destiny with cross over halo weapons in the 30th year content…and cookies fuck you mean

  15. I understand the pain of Warframe, but you have to understand New War is story content. It's not content you blow through in 5 minutes. You tie up loose ends and learn key plot points. If you don't like that, can't help you there. But for me, someone whose played for years, I'm happy newer players can't jump straight in. You guys got, like you said, 8 years worth of content to play. There's a reason newer players can't jump in. Do you know who Teshin is and what his vows to the Orokin were? Do you know why Lotus means so much to the Tenno? Do you know what a Warframe is exactly? If you don't want to play the game, why are you playing Warframe or playing games in general? I know I'm sounding high and mighty, thumbing my nose at you from ontop my mountain, but newer players have had content drop after content drop after content drop for the past 4 years. It's time vets got something. You guys will get something later on I'm sure, but let us have this one drop. Too many good vets left Warframe already because vets were getting shafted. One day you too will become a vet and you too will learn the struggle we've had.

  16. "completely no-lifed" I literally touch the game a few times every couple months and I reached that point so quickly, the new war isn't meant for new players at all either way, DE made it clear themselves. Plus obtaining a nechramech and railjack only need about 5ish hours combined unless your rng is that bad. (Not counting crafting times btw)

  17. To be fair I feel like complaining about the repetition is going against what a looter shooter stands for and that’s shooting and looting not roleplaying, story, and building things. I literally don’t play any looter shooter atm and haven’t since destiny 1 but I feel that Destiny 2 from what I’ve seen despite the insane paywalls, is actually a really good looter shooter. You can’t deny that it does what it intends very well if it has a constant stream of loyal fans and new players every new content drop. The same can’t be said for games like the division 2 and outriders where they get maybe at most a few thousand new players with a big expansion drop. Destiny 2 and Warframe both are objectively good looter shooters but I feel the frustration is that people just don’t like looter shooters or are burnt out nowadays. Destiny 1 was repetitive AS FUCK but I played that everyday single day of my life for a year or two nonstop because looter shooters were fresh to me and it was fun getting the best gear or the best looking one

  18. I agree with you on all of this, but with Outriders having no new content, and Warframe having objectively too MUCH content, i would argue that Warframe for a new player is a treasure trove of things to do. Yes, the new war has prerequisites to start… But thats due it being story-based content and would lose new players anyway due to confusion. As a content creator myself i agree that jumping into warframe now would not have been beneficial. I was lucky enough to start it during tennocon 2021 and in so doing i had the prerequisites met for doing that quest. What i WILL say is that the journey to get to the New War is an enjoyable grind and the quest itself blew me away and was worth every hour ive put in. And isnt that what looter shooters/rpg's are all about? There are new things on the horizon for Warframe with the New War being the start. Theres a new open world (their 4th) in development as well. As a creator… Its difficult to keep up, but as a player… Id rather have too much content. Other looter shooters need to learn from this.

  19. Unlike a lot of games where you really do need catch up mechanics to be current with long time players, Warframe really isnt that. Add on that going through all the 8+ years of content really might as well be current content for new players. The current stuff doesnt change all that much to the game. I originally came into the game fairly late and was caught up pretty quick. They have also made it much much easier and quicker to get some of the major things like a railjack that used to take quite a long time. the only thing that is still a bit of a drag is the necramech

Also i just finished the New War and other than the requirements its pretty easy to do and those requirements are mostly pretty fun and current enough content to do. And doing the required quests are also fun as they are absolutely fantastic. so much so the community still to this day is pretty good about not spoiling it.
