I'm Warning You Now with Outriders – sIEGE THOUGHTs

So… the delay on Outriders is feeling awfully familiar at this point and that isn’t exactly a good thing, and is why I decided to make this video. Be warned. We’ve …

  1. Who remember when Nintendo had their Seal of approval? This is what needs to happen now, console manufacturers should test every game before release and if it doesnt meet certain standards it wont be released on the console,PEROID.

  2. Hopefully it's not broken and unfinished, but I'll tell you what, if this game isn't broken or lacking content and NOT a live service game it's gonna bury Warframe and put Warframe to shame.

  3. The one problem here is there’s a game drought for the new gen consoles and so likely you will be ignored.
Also they’re releasing a free demo ……. that kind of throws your whole video into disrepute.

No Man's Sky does exist you know… THAT was the first game to really do a 180 compared to its launch and I honestly think these publishers look at that game to say "We can release a broken game and fix it later. It'll be our comeback story"

  7. Lol I posted a comment in a destiny video that Bungie needed competition because they’re too relaxed with destiny, and someone had the nerve to talk crap to me. Saying destiny will never have competition and blah blah blah. When you said Destiny needs competition I was like THATS WHAT IVE BEEN SAYING!!!!!

Yet I get shit on. If outriders gets positive reception I GUARANTEE destiny will become a better game. Why? Bungie will have to compete. You have a new looter shooter entering the market and it’s not a live service game and has WAY more customization than destiny has. With cooler classes. If it’s a hit, Bungie will be forced to make changes to destiny.

I don’t understand how people are too blind to see this. I understand addiction is a thing but when it clouds your judgment it’s a problem. Destiny NEEDS Outriders. It NEEDED Anthem to succeed. It failed of course.

Bungie is sitting back saying we’re listening, meanwhile the game is shit. With rehashed content because ppl complain but still give Bungie their money. A person can “listen” all they want, that doesn’t mean they care to make change. Not when YOU ask for it and not how you want it. What ppl also don’t seem to realize is that Bungie literally already KNOWS every single change they wanna make to destiny. That’s why they released the upcoming expansion titles. Witch Queen and Lightfall. They have all their content and updates planned already. Yet the game is in shambles right now.

This is why the release of Outriders HAS to go well. It HAS to. Especially for Destiny fans. I’m glad you brought up the fact that Bungie needs competition. It’s nice to know I’m not the only logical one out here.

  8. First of all, this isn't a live service game. Comparing it to Anthem, Destiny, Division, etc… does the game you're trying to "caution" against, a grave disservice. Secondly, Anthem was ultimately put out by EA, do I need to say more? Destiny was being rushed out the door until very recently by Activision, need I say more? And Division, as is always the case they start out strong then screw the game over with "balance" patches because they listen to all the whiny casual player base that leaves the game after a month. They did it in Division 1 and they did it again in Division 2.

Outriders aren't going to make that same mistake because first and foremost they're not a live service game and secondly they have a publisher in Square Enix that hasn't exactly put out a bad game in eons and they have a developer in the Gears of Wars guys who care about their product.

To counter your "more time to develop automatically means the game is gonna come out like crap," look at World of Warcraft's delay. They had a hefty one and the game came out just fine. Sure it had a few bugs during launch week but no game ever launches perfectly. Nine times out of ten when a game needs to delay, they do so to make sure the game is top-notch and enjoyable. Just because a few games have come out recently after delays doesn't mean it's suddenly some big trend that every game is going to follow.

Personally, I'd rather a game delay and produce an amazing game than push it out unfinished. Let's not forget how disingenuous you're being by not mentioning the free demo coming out in February that allows everyone to try out the classes AND the progress in that Demo will carry over into the game if you choose to buy it. I can't speak to Anthem because I boycott EA but I know damn well Destiny and Division didn't do that and I've played them both (Destiny since it launched). Then again, they're live service games and this isn't. They genuinely seem like they want this game to be done properly from the outset rather than launching with bugs and fix it later. 100% wrong on this one.

  9. Heard about 2 mins…This delay is strictly to add more polish and Nvidia DLSS for PC. The second it got delayed Nvidia started promoting it and later announced it will support DLSS. Also demo so not the same.

  10. Honestly I wouldn't be surprised if this game is as bad as cyberpunk was. I liked cyberpunk but I wish they would just delayed it until they were sure it was a good game.

  11. There is more bugs because the developpement is more complex each time we go forward in time and technologies. Also there is financial pressures on the devs most of the time.

  12. Valid concerns given the state of the industry, but the I think your data doesn’t necessarily validate your points…

    1. Cyberpunk is not a looter shooter and therefore maybe shouldn’t be used as a reference when talking about “the genre”

    2. Some of the other mentioned games never released REAL gameplay. Im not talking about any of the scripted bs. Actual gamers playing. I know Outriders even invited some content creators out to play the game and keep their footage, which is a big plus. They even previewed what the game looks like on previous gen consoles (probably inspired by CP2077 release lol)

    3. With the completely free open beta, no one needs to wait and watch before they buy, they can just try it for an entire month and then pass if it turns out to be hot garbage

    4. I think your video might be geared more toward the live-service gaming model. These type of looter shooters scream cash grab. But Outriders is making a bold move by putting an actual finish line in their game instead of the endless treadmill design.

I really get the skepticism. It does feel at times big companies are preying on the lack of new AAA games by coming out with rushed and unfinished products. Thanks for taking the time to remind us that we, as gamers, are sometimes easily fooled by the new bright and shiny toy in the toy box lol

  17. That’s a lie you could still get it on Xbox just not ps4 and they weren’t even the ones who made that happen Microsoft Sony and everyone else made that happen and you can’t even say that about this game they are having a free demo so we r gonna be able to see what we’re getting and you play warframe you have no say in gaming at all bruh

  18. You forgot Xbox insiders played the game and they have said it’s not very bad buggy like cyberpunk and Anthem and Godfall and Marvel Avengers. Now with that the demo is a good thing. You take 0 positive of those game. It’s awesome it’s going to be the first full game we got In a very long time not a half of game like Destiny and Divison and Warframe.

  19. Wait, wait, wait…. I'm 1min and 16 sec out on this guy's video and what I know so far is that he's worried that a company is giving free demo for players to test out their game before purchasing it, and that Cyberpunk 2077 is a looter shooter ? Next what? Mario's a really bad RTS ? Like seriously do I have to watch this video til the end to be finally and really pissed off by that guy ignorance and incoherences ?
Sheesh man, wanna shit on some game fine but at least start making sense!

  21. Why do they keep giving out release dates? They should know if their game is ready for release unless it is some greedy shareholders wanting their return on investment. The game does look promising but still going hold out for reviews.
