Is Outriders overhyped? That’s the subject of today’s video. We spent hours sifting through comments and responding to dozens of questions about the game, …
How many games have I bought based on a trailer….?? I mean. Like 1-2 / all of them lol. Good job guys. Didn’t know about the comms issue. But I still think it will be fun no matter what. Keep it up!
"This is not going to last for more than a month" Well it's a co-op experience with end-game. Most co-op games doesn't even have end-game. If any other co-op game lasted for more than a month I'd be plenty impressed.
Outriders actually looks like it’s the game for me I don’t really like destiney anymore so outriders looks like a 3rd person destiny with gears of war style game play ,
I understand where you are coming from, but no. Too many games have come out that have fiegned this pro consumer/friend with the consumer/transparent with the consumer approach and have said everything to sweeten the ears of people and have never delivered on what they promised. This game looks interesting and I would be lying if I didn't admit I want to try it and possibly buy it, but no. Everyone don't fall into the hype and don't give the devs credit they have yet to deserve. Play the demo, make a decision with what you tried out, wait for the game to come out then buy if its actually worth it. Don't pre order and don't fall into the hype. When you put a bunch of hype and trust into these corporations they take advantage of that and try to sell you a faulty product and people still buy and defend them. we need to stop that cycle in the worsening game industry.
Nah dude gearbox has next level transparency. We had a whole host of issues with the game and they fixed all of them near instantly and gave us weekly patches for 9 months. I am not about to sit here and let you act like that doesn't exists…. Sometimes I'm worried they listen too us too much and therefor made the game too easy and the drop rates too high for a the cassuals.
It doesn't remind me of destiny at all on top of destiny actually ripping off there fanbase this and halo are the only 2 games iam looking forward too this year. Though chat should have been worked on from the very start once they decided it was going to be a cross platform co op game
If doing things this way makes enough money, they could arguably change the looter shooter genre in terms of marketing and development, even if the systems aren't inherently that revolutionary.
Honestly the crafting in this game really stands out compared to other games, and if the game has any longevity it will come from people tinkering and optimizing builds through crafting.
I don't see why people would be mad that they can't talk to people through in-game chat tbh. I've rarely ever played with a random that used text chat or a mic. I always use some sort of party system while playing with friends in games too so…
I just get a real anthem vibe with this. I'm glad to hear it's not a live service,, but anthem did all this.. Well made promo videos, lots of hype from lots of creators, lots of big idea promises… We'll see…
I was one of those people in the comments banging that "this game is fucking overhyped trash" drum. Hella respect for addressing these comments and diving into the reasons as to why people should be excited about this game.
So apparently a lot of good things are happening in March for me. First it's me and my girlfriend's FIRST anniversary. THEN! we got our anniversary trip to celebrate in the middle of the month! THEN! I got my tax return money coming in. And lastly this game that has caught my eye for the last two weeks.
This is a gears of war clone. I wouldn't even compare this to D2 or Borderlands since its 3rd person. Also, there is no jumping, I can already tell wont like the mechanics. I can see myself playing this for campaign and story, but def, not something that will last for years.
The other clear difference is… its also not a game with live updates… like Destiny, Division, Anthem… and those game get their content from a lot of updates… id be worried the game wont have a lot of content. Anthem still couldnt add enough content after two years lmao. I wish anthem got its shit together I really liked it for its potential… but this game… idk… content… end game…
It all comes from not trusting triple a developers and alot of the youtube community. How many games have been hyped and the been mediocre or even complete garbage. Square Enix is not immuned. The Avengers was a game that seems to me was supposed to be something else but last minute decisions were made for microtransactions caused the game to go from a fun story to a fun story that is ruined by trying to be a looter shooter clone. The more you hype this and talk about it the less interested we are at this point.
I will be honest first time I heard about this game looks cool but I have a lot of reasonable doubts to this game but I will be playing demo to make my final decision on it
Hopefully we get a Division 2 DLC soon, Outriders looks decent with it's strong suit being the loot. I hope this is not like Remnant not a fan of that game.
I've stopped holding my breath for games until i see actual gameplay and real reviews come out. Cyberpunk was the last game that was a pre order for me. So while I am interested, i'm being caution about this.
Got my copy 1 week ago even if there will be a demo on the 25th this is the type of gaming i will support and from what i watched i am pretty sure i will enjoy it and get my money worth out of it plus no predatory microtransaction! I Don't buy anything from Activision / Blizzard anymore because of it , cause i know its going to be full predatory microtransactions.
The ONLY reason i'm onboard for this game —- CROSSPLAY. I can't tell you how many games me (PC), and my Xbox buddies were hoping were crossplay….and none were. (see- Division 1, Division 2, Anthem, Avengers, Borderlands…..). SO the fact that this game is crossplay from the jump probably has my purchase. It's that simple.
well last time i saw a content creater wave of support this big this poitive this hype it was Anthem , so ill blame no one who waits for release and some actualreviews not what re if not for money for benifit coverage.

I'll be watching, waiting for the inevitable letdown when this game flops harder than Weeknds halftime show.

I’m going all in

Awesome video that makes so many awesome points. It really is refreshing after a few previous games came out that shattered dreams.

So you re basically there to promote the game. K bye
Lost me when he said no comms…it's the little things
Both destiny 1 and anthem had open betas, but hopefully this will be good.
Thanks for this, looking forward to giving it a go!
I’m already preordered, but I’m going to play the hell out of the demo. Progression carries over, so why not get a head start??
Really looking forward to playing this game, definitely going for platinum
It doesn't remind me of destiny at all on top of destiny actually ripping off there fanbase this and halo are the only 2 games iam looking forward too this year. Though chat should have been worked on from the very start once they decided it was going to be a cross platform co op game
Anthem had a demo. Played 30 minutes and got bored.

Try before you buy says it all for me.
This game looks awesome
Hey the beta comes out in a couple weeks an don't even have to pre order it to play. We'll all find out if we're going to enjoy it or not.

Hey so there no game chat communication? How can you play a multi player shooter with communication?

March is gonna be fun!
I am not going to to trust any gaming company hype after cyberpunk 2077
I dont like talking to people in game anyway. so f it
don't really need comms maybe a ping system idk
Looking forward to play outriders soon.
BTW destiny had a closed alpha and an open beta… So people could play it before buying.
My biggest worry is how bad I am at third person games compared to first person
Yeah that never came out my mouth I’m ready for this game

Free demo D1. 😒😒😒 if you don't know you didn't play
never pre-order, they will get my money if the game is finished and polished on release, thats why i will wait 1-2 days after release
