Is OUTRIDERS WORTH buying? Should you buy Outriders?

Is Outriders worth it, in my humble opinion after buying the full game and playing it for a few long hours? It depends on a few factors that I’d like to discuss with you in this video, sharing my own perspective on whether or not you should buy Outriders right now.

There are plenty of other games including free ones that could be seen as distractions competing for our time and attention in 2021, around the time of Outriders release and gaining popularity.

So should you play Outriders or perhaps wait and see how the future content of the game pans out and what other reviews surface over the coming weeks and months? In this video I’m happy to share my opinion with you!

  1. Apologies for the video quality my friends, clearly rendering at 30 FPS for speed of video production doesn't work for Outriders (kinda works fine for PoE though!). I'll try and do better next time!

  2. Video quality was fine for me but I mostly watch on mobile XD
Great vid as usual, definitely agree with you on the game. Personally I think its a great and don't regret buying it. Endgame loop is very fun for me as Expedions reminds me of G-rifts and a tiny bit like Horrfic Visions, so its scratching that itch 🙂
Quite a few issues need fixing on multiplayer(apparently) but for us solo players I actually think its in a good place right now. Definitely my main game right now!

  3. For me, I already lost interest years ago to PoE. Its a unique item diarrhea stash slot selling simulator garbage. All those stupid things in PoE is just there so they can sell more pages to players. And its not really a co-op game, everyone playing it solo, farming it solo, you wont encounter to other players other than villages which means nothing. I don't see any point to play that game but I'm glad you can still enjoy it. Have fun.

Outriders looks like a game that you should compare with Warframe instead of Unique Diarrhea Exile.
You have no pet, no any form of auto collection or even a partial auto collect like a "radial area around the player" like in Sacred 1-2 for example. Right? You have to manually collect everything, like you did in the video?
Many players in steam reviews are complaining about connection problems, how unbalanced, broken and overpriced it is. (Also no regional pricing) And they're already selling a DLC for it.
Its a crystal clear game that anyone should avoid.

  4. Looks like a interesting game. I have no time at all for it so ill be skipping it for now. Maybe in the future when its on sale.

I'm considering giving tanking a serious try in Wow. M+ mostly because I can't commit to a set schedule to raid with my guild right now, my work and life is too hectic, and even if I did they have more than enough tanks so I'd be forced to dps anyway. I'm super nervous because I've seen how people treat tanks on my server, idk about the other servers but man is it a toxic community. I'm mostly wanting to give it a shot for 3 reasons.

    1) Hoping consistently playing another play style for a few weeks might be a breath of fresh air and bring some fun back to the game.

    2) I've never really tanked anything above a M6 in any expansion ever, only dps'd beyond that point, so would like to see if I am capable, see what my limits are.

    3) I only get to play for a few hours in the evening most days, so not complaining but I prefer to get a lot done in that time so it feels like I'm progressing in the game, sense of accomplishment, and tanks are so scarce right now.

I spent 5 hours playing last Saturday and only got to do 4 dungeons, and only 2 were completed in time, 1 not in time, and 1 not at all… Longest we had to wait for a tank was 40 min, and after that our dps warrior died on the first boss, and I guess he felt ashamed for dying or something because he just up and left group and everyone else left within 30 seconds after that. 40+ min wait for less than 5 min in the dungeon. So much time for so little progress, its infuriating.

I know you played a lot of Prot Paladin. What are your thoughts on tanking in general, and thoughts on tanking pug m+? (Sadly most of my RL friends I would do M+ with have quit the expansion already)

  5. I made it to challenge Tier 15 and its certainly not worth full price. Reaching end game makes all the levelling content obsolete. In the end all you do is run the same handful of timed runs over and over hoping RNG will give you the very specific legendary items you need to make your build work. I had fun for a week but have no desire to play it again.

  6. Interesting looking game, but the shooter/looter isn't a favorite. Still playing WoW – leveling #11 (two left after that!) and doing a mix of old/new content – casual and collecting helps! April 26-27 the new DLC for Fallout 76 is out, so likely will spend some time there. The other option is to finish the download on ESO or SWTOR and catch up on a year or two of content until 9.1 comes out.
