Today we will be talking about some of the balance changes that were implemented yesterday in Outriders. Now while they are a couple questionable nerfs, I think as a whole it was good for the game. Combine these with some Ability Power buffs and this game is sitting in a very good spot. Endgame remains basically unchanged, its just slightly harder to reach the upper challenge tiers. I know that can be frustrating but just keep grinding that gear and working on those builds.

they always jump to nerfing things instead of buffing pretty sad tbh plus the servers are shit so oh yeah i completed a chem plant on ct 14 and my game crashes great game
They nerfed the wrong things, maybe a couple class skills were too strong but its some of the tier 3 mods that are broken, some if you're lucky enough to get them can double your damage, those are what people used to clear the higher tiers, now they have those mods it doesn't affect them so much as they feel way less of a nerf, but someone trying to go from say CT5 to 12 now will have such a bad experience and feel like they don't do enough damage
but you were able to build up the gear before the nerf so it really doesnt' count. it can't be done as easily with nothing to something after the nerfs.
The adjustments they made are fine. Already tricksters turning in gold CT15s post patch.

You say "definitely" so much lol. At least the "pretty much" was toned down.
After trying ability build for pyro I’m just exhausted and frustrated by the fact that legendary sets do little improvements to overall performance if there is any. You can literally get one shot by brood mother with ability build and a second life won’t get you any further. So you have to put a golem mod to keep you alive, then there is this cool down you need to worry about, and having a cool down means you are very likely to get swarmed by mobs and got stunned to death before you can clear them out with a new wave of skills. Seriously, buff the weak, stop nerfing the strong
nerfs are good for the overall health of a game. If they never changed anything then people would just burn through all content and stop playing.
Me personally? I find myself not wanting to play anymore.
I’m not ashamed to walk away from this game. Thank god for game pass.

Running pyro rn but I think imma make a techno, sucks being the 2nd weakest class
My main issue is MM is useless now because i was able to do ct13 and 12 but now i can only clear ct 9 but when I MM it groups me in CT12 and 13 but i cant contribute anymore we need CT MM CHOICE
It may be easy for you to still get gold, but you belong to a very small minority. I'm not taking a jab at you because I have absolutely no issues with you, but the majority of people couldn't steamroll content, and it seems as if they made these changes based off of the top 1% who could. The nerfs may have been justified, but the timing was poor, and they should have been released at a time when buffs came with the changes.
My techno's anomaly rounds has a cooldown of 43 seconds
Trickster had roughly a 20-30% overall nerf, Technomancer had roughly a 10% overall nerf while already outperforming every other other class in the game cementing it as THE best class in the game.
I lost all of my gear from a bug after the update, and now I can't even connect without getting kicked 2 seconds in

Biggest bs I've ever heard is chem plant is still easy tier 15 gold, majority of us can't fucking do it.

I wish I could get a refund. Uninstalled the game. Another game telling us we cannot have fun.
Lesson learned, any game that is Coop or Multiplayer, and if like myself you love to play solo, just never buy them.
I will not ever purchase another Coop or multiplayer game. I have had enough.

Before nerf i was running Chem Plant T15 on gold. After patch i'm missing like 1min. What's better to farm T14 Chem Plant on gold or T15 Chem Plant on silver ?
That’s great it’s op…but instead of fucking constantly nerfing in games why don’t we just buff the abilities that aren’t preforming well. The point of these games are to feel powerful so make us powerful ffs……
The nerfs are complete bs some of us aren’t even able to play the game at the higher levels due to crashes on my series x and it’s only been 9 days nerfs were too early at least wait a month before u implement class changes so u can focus on game stability and cross play fixes
I think the anomaly rounds are a crutch. I've been cruising through WT in the campaign with my Techno by completing my ability accolades. I only really use blighted rounds when fighting the last boss on WT13 after they nerf the ability and had no problems (SOLO btw).
All due respect, MOST people are in the middle tiers. They made the grind more difficult for the majority of the player base and those who can't sit down and play a game for hours. Buff, dont nerf
Thank you for taking a more leveled approach to the balance changes. While I do think the balance patch was a bit knee jerk and some buffs too would have been good, there's no denying bullet builds were overperforming for the low bar to cross gear wise to get there.
I'm with you. This was the first balance with a second coming soon. But it was to easy to get far to fast with bullet builds.
The crash and loose items is the worst though. The nerfs is kinda nothing and people go nuts about it.. come on.
Such a joke…. I don’t care about these individual nerfs but the fact that they are implementing these knee jerk changes when there are people who still can’t connect or who crash frequently or are losing inventories. The number one priority should be game functionality and stability… not a single person at these studios should be touching game balance or even be watching content like this until the game is at the very least smooth. What a disappointment
The bullet ability are amazing but they need to focus on making all the rest of the trees more of a viable choice. Ppl are just going straight to the bullet builds. I personally am focusing on trying to build around the other trees myself. Guess its making it more difficult for me but the ability on this game are just to cool not to wanna use them. Yes I use the bullet rounds on the pyro and tech of course I just spec in the top tree with any of the classes. I have not lvled the trickster past the demo btw.

Thank you, everyone else has been so toxic about these changes and dragging the game down, making it so others won’t buy it, etc. YongYea even did a video on it and the comment section is full of people going “wow glad I didn’t buy”, etc. it’s so dumb, these changes are good for the game long term.

Even though this doesn’t effect me as much since I don’t use techno or trickster. I do prefer buffs to under performing abilities/skills instead of nerffing over performing abilities. That is part of the reason why I stopped playing destiny 2.

i have only seen 1 dev get gold on the new boom town and he was 1 second off, he had too replay so many time learn the mob spawns for optimal earthquacking and 1 mistake or bad captain spawn runes the whole run pretty much the same for chem, not saying the chem change was wrong just saying that they gotta think about all classes while optimizing the times you need for gold
I dont see the point in nerfing characters in a pve ONLY game.
These people who play these games for a living do not represent almost all of the community. So many people can make the timers now, these news without buffs has made the game way less fun and just more frustrating
I get a kick out of the tricksters whining about 26 second twisted round cooldown which is around volcanic when technomancers blighted rounds base is over 50 seconds
