  1. I can instantly one-shot bosses. I define "instantly" as about half an hour, and "one-shot" as hitting the ammo cache 20 times. I spent 16 hours grinding Hunts and Expeditions yesterday and got 9 pieces of purple Apocalypse gear and 1 regular legendary. I am not maxed, so the cost of upgrades will be absolutely astronomical. My $60 investment in the game and $40 in the DLC has me chewing blood-pressure medication like candy. I am a typical Outriders player.

    As an addendum:

I am going to mod into this game the Schlooter and Loot-Splosion.
The devs have to remember that this is a GAME, not a job.
The devs have to remember that there is no PvP, so who's being hurt? If you can't clear Boom Town sub-4, you need PRACTICE.
For working this hard, I should be getting $$ PAID $$.

We NEED gear locking. Period. Tired as I was after the 16-hour aforementioned work/chore/slog/grind I put in, I dismantled a God-rolled lower armor. I then pulled the power cord out of my PSU.

  2. I came back because Devastator got a big buff, if they nerf him now I'll just stop playing. Other games need my attention too, and I'm not going to play one that has a tragic grind behind it only to nerf everything that lets us do it quick.

  3. Devastator w/o that node just means you might as well play pyro. I mean that's what gives dev an edge, if you can't be tanky, might as well just go pyro and get faster clears. I mean dev has good clear now but pyro still just wipes entire screens.

These changes don't sound good, once again they're trying to nerf the fun stuff out. Pyro with no cooldowns is what makes it fun, it's why I swapped from Dev main to play pyro, I like not need to use my guns much beyond a proc.

  4. Well.. the game was fun while it lasted. Here comes another game that is killed by devs who cant swallow their ego and let their players enjoy their game.. I give the game 3 weeks max from today and it’s dead.

  5. I think It would be badass if they made it so you can put the 20 skill points from a maxed out character into another one so you go straight into the maxed out gear. That’s my problem with it is the grind from zero to 20 is too long and getting the sets that you want. I’m maxed out level 52 devastator with level 26 ascension and I don’t see myself grinding that much for another character

  6. Things I would like to see added in the long term are things like a horde mode where the longer you survive the better rewards you get, more expeditions especially areas based on the world slayer content, and reduce the resources needed to upgrade stuff (especially apocalypse gear it is absurd right now). I understand they need to balance builds that are broken, but I feel like they're taking the Wonderlands approach and nerfing everything as soon as it comes out making that build your grinding for useless when you just want to have fun. I like this game and want to see it succeed so hopefully they can get things in a good place.

  7. So….what’s the opinion on Outriders? Where’s the opinions of the Wonderlands players that hopped onto it? In my Xbox Store Worldslayer is $48. 2 hr story. No side missions. 1 new endgame loop that never changes it’s the same each run….but lots of new gear. Grinding up through apocalypse tiers seems insanely tedious. I will say I enjoyed the game at launch played 2 months daily got all 4 characters to CT15 but I can’t come back for that $48 price tag. I woulda paid $30 tops.

  8. So basically they finally made Devastator fun to play/ viable…can’t have that! Nerf hammer! Its the the golden rule of pve games…let the player feel powerful. PCF don’t get this.

  9. I'll be amazed if Techmonger survives unscathed.

I do wish they would generally buff more things though because there are still far too many cool, fun looking options that just do not work because they fail to scale against enemies adequately.

And you say Devastator is in a good spot but the Warden Tree – my preferred choice – is still basically shit since there aren't any nodes (or gear for that matter AFAIK) that grant bonuses scaling off Max HP other than having a higher base regeneration rate from Anamoly in Veins and that really fucks me off.

Trickster is my favorite (and could use some love) but I do enjoy playing all of them especially being a super tank Devastator that just will not die, and I get that you should have to sacrifice some.damage for that but it shouldn't seemingly be all damage period if you wanna be a tank.

Like the 40% of armor as a death aura from the PAX tree is really cool, except that again it doesn't really scale well and literally does nothing if your Protection skills aren't up.

And while there are tools to help with that, they all depend on getting kills pretty much which is hard to do when you have no damage and you see where I'm going with this? Like why couldn't they just give Warden style a straight up Thorns aura, or at least a passive that scales your damage up dramatically based on missing health or ANYTHING >:(

would like to see more melee options too as some of the melee mods are pretty cool.

  10. They also need to buff expeditions to add more variety to the game. Running just the trials gets boring quite fast. It's a good game, but it lacks replayability unless you run the trials like a madman.

  11. For Apocalypse Tiers, they should make them universal experience wise. Meaning that the overall grind only needs to happen once. Then they could just make it so that each character has to beat each Apocalypse Tier atleast once to unlock the next tier, and maybe up to three times each. So to unlock, if your account already reached the required experience for all apocalypse tiers, but on only one character, lets say it was your Devastator, then your Technomancer has to beat each individual tier once for each tier up to tier 20. Beating tier 15 once unlocks tier 16 for the character, so on and so forth. Then, from tiers 21-30, you need to beat each tier twice to progress. Then for tiers 31-40 you need to beat each one 3 times. This is just as an example. They could put requirements for characters that didn't obtain the experience required on that character. So in regards to if i got to 26 on my Trickster, then switched to Pyromancer because i wanted to try another class. I could catch back up to the Apocalypse Tier faster based on my gear luck and beat each consecutive tier the required amount of time. My gear level would still be based on my highest unlocked tier even if my account wide tier is higher. That means i still have to grind for gear until the character is strong enough for the later tiers. Then, once my Pyromancer catches up to Apocalypse Tier 26, i see the experience bar with the same amount of experience already accumuluated on my Trickster, because it is universal, and then i can continue on passed apocalypse tier 26. Of course, that would mean i would have to unlock the new tier progression on my Trickster that i made for my account on my Pyromancer. This means that characters can't easily skip a bunch of tiers or right to tier 40 just by having one character reach it and then farm gear to pass on because the characters would still be level locked at whatever tier met the requirements for. That or they could greatly reduce the xp required for the later tiers because casuals will lose interest much faster. Once they get a build online that they enjoy for each character they won't care to explore more play styles or builds because of the resource cost to level items and the slow grind for apocalypse tiers. Atleast with the way i described, they could change up their playstyle by switching characters if they get bored of another and still be able to progress their apocalypse tier overall once they get all characters to the same general point. They could also make resources universal as well or decrease the requirements for leveling gear.

  12. still no word on a fix for the crypt side area in the first section being fixed
right now i cant do it w other players even if they have finished the trials which is supposedly whats needed to access it which i recall going in from jump when i soloed it so idk
it seems like in online especially w crossplay the game doesnt wanna load the area entrance to start it most of the time

  13. Being able to give gear to other characters and they can just pick it up and go would make trying out new builds way better. Obviously armor doesn't swap over because of classes but maybe a second character could equip apocalypse level 5 without having apocalypse armor until he gets better armor. Just so your 2nd or 3rd characters can catch up faster to your highest level characters. Like destiny giving high level guns to your other characters without the need to put your life on pause to play

  14. They have mad this a painful grind with doing the exact same farm over and over. Their solution is to make the grind in the same area longer… What a bunch of tools. Increase the xp for story and expeditions to break up the grind. Same thing over and over was their endgame idea? SMH…
