Back when I was competing in an IPF affiliate org, meets were supposed to be tested but it was open to everyone – including known PED users like Bodybuilders that we personally know.
Back in a time and place where, people struggle to break a 1000lbs total… The expectations were so low that they were utterly shocked by performance (a total of 1380lbs in a time when 1600lbs was world class competitive, seems like 2000 is the norm nowadays). Then the organizers gave us a sermon about PEDs being illegal and banned in the Org for whatever reason – I was beating their lifters too, LOL.
I beat everybody basically and I'm natty. It just happened I was doing Powerlifting training in a time when 99% of people think only Bodybuilding exists so every kind of lifting is "Bodybuilding", haha. Me and my buddy were the only "Powerlifters" in our city, LOL.
Point is, people don't understand that drugs aren't magic. It requires a lot of training to achieve a certain level of performance.
