My Brutally Honest Opinion On Outriders… | Review

Outriders is here and thanks to it being a day one Game Pass addition, there has been even more interest in the title. This game is never mentioned without some sort of comparison occurring really disabling its ability to stand on its own. With that in mind, I want to get straight to the point. This game is extremely fun. Is it flawed? Certainly, but there is a locomotion to it that makes things click. How so? We get into that in my brutally honest opinion on Outriders.

  1. Games a broken mess on series x. multiplayer does not work at all. Game is supposed to be multiplayer focused so they got their most fundamental part wrong right at the get go. Complete joke.

  2. It would be such an amazing game if it didn't require constant internet connection.
It's really annoying when it simply drops me back to the main screen, because of a server error.

  3. Im confused, its a guilty pleasure(10hrs first day) so that means you like it but you cant recommend it…mmm.ok. I put in 8 hrs yesterday, the games combat is a friggin blast, and playing it with friends is a way better experience than destiny.

  4. Had a free game code from buying a graphics card so figured I'd try it out…..I've been waiting to get home from work and play it all day! This shit is just fun, no nonsense, no menus trying to sell ya stuff. Just jump in and merc. Maybe too many cuts ends and load screens, like he said, but it's feels so refreshing. And I have legit laughed out loud at the cutscenes so many times in just the first day.. Also the graphics on pc are pretty damn nice to look at but for some reason the player character looks like the graphics are turned down to low, but just on them, kinda weird. Definitely worth trying, imagine it'll be more fun with other people but wasn't able to find a group after about 5 tries so gave up.

  5. I like the game with the fun gameplay that makes you feel like one man army at times and also can be challenging, but the sever issues are so annoying I can’t even play the game anymore right now bc of it

  6. Despite this games flaws (some of which are prominent) and all the reasons this shouldn't be a good game, I'm having a lot of fun. I think somewhere along the way, gamers and gaming as a whole forgot that a games's primary purpose is to provide entertainment, be fun. It doesn't have to be perfector even close to perfect to accomplish that and be loads of fun.
My only real issue is requiring me to be online to online to play

  7. Devastators health regan mechanic needs to be tweaked. All the other classes get health for simply doing dmg or shields. Devastator only gets health if an enemy dies. Its fine for normal mobs but you are at a disadvantage against elites and bullet sponge enemies.

You can work around this buy specing into life leech, and moding to generate armor. Earthquake and tremor are great for this but its at the cost of doing more dmg. Tremor as a long ass cooldown but is the best skill to generate health and armor in my opinion.

  8. Did about 7 hours of the demo and I’m now 8-9 hours in the main game and having a blast, had a random person join my game and we worked in sync with one another and had fun, it’s running great on my series x too.
