i get to a point where he stops tossing those balls and start channeling map skills
they insta kill me 😀 altho i have 40k hp and over 200 armor
and also hit 60k crits perma for 5 seconds after a skill cast.
Dunno. Have any ideas what those skills that boss uses are? ;/
The problem with this boss is that it's hard to see his AOE while you're charging the obelisk I died without even knowing I got hit hope they fix that.
The big problem for me is the room wide AOE attack, the blue wave thing that is unavoidable. It hits me once for four quarters of my health and since I can not heal in this phase the next hit always kills me even on low Apo tiers. As a techno who depends on weapons leech and the turrets to heal using the pax tree (turrets do not seem to work properly in this fight – they do not heal) I do not enjoy this fight at all. This is badly designed and unavoidable attacks are always stupid low level lazy mechanics.

You missed the "wipe" mechanic. There's an Obliteration timer going on at all time, and eventually it just insta kills you. How come you didn't even mention it? Did it not happen in your game?
Update – I didn't have to personally deal with the wipe mechanic, or Obliteration bar, in my early runs so I failed to mention it. Basically if you spend too much time outside of the circles during his immune phase the bar will charge. My suggestion is doing DPS close to the pillars you need to charge and make sure you are going to do damage immediately as the circle is gone because he can become unstunned. When dodging ranged attacks do your best to stay in the circle as much as possible.
Is anyone as pissed off as me u go all that way only to get one hit wiped absolute bullshit it happed to me on all 3 of my attempts ya cant dodge it 🤬
I keep getting one shot by him with my pyro. No warning but him raising his arms and then locking my skills. This has happened on each of my different classes but with pyro it happens every time.
Ok there's something you should mention and it's that this boss chain your skills and nullify and one-shot you, downright kill you. It has killed me several time in the last phase, I'm still investigating why, I believe it's because I'm using a Martyr gear-set that that damage you over time and since it becomes immune to damage I can't leech any life from it and kill you if the skills get nullified.
All is about timing.You need to be fast That s it No bug at all be fast.

So I am not supposed to take down the Obliteration bar??? I thought that controlled it's shields and had to be taken down to kill it. Are the circles you are referring to the red circles? In all other games I have played, you stay out of the red.

yeh no. this One-shot bug killed me more times than the upcoming challenges. Not enjoyable at all.

Your leaving out a key part of this fight the wipe mechanic that charges the whole fight if you don’t get the pillars down quick enough the wipe mechanic fully charges and kills you instantly. If you are solo this is very hard if you have one other person to help you it’s much easier cause you each can be on a pillar. He says this isn’t a timed fight but that’s completely false you cannot take your time and you have to rush.
It's not a "lot of fun" when you breeze through everything before him and he kills you in under 5 seconds. (one AOE of his chained where you land after roll = dead) edit: and feed the flames don't want to target him, I have tried it standing in his crotch…so no heal, no ammo…Great boss.
First of all I think if you DPS too fast it still bugs. Which for a "timed" fight seems like a huge problem. Second I'm pretty sure you didn't noticed the mechanic because you were in a group and probably got the pillars down faster. Third how am I supposed to stay in the circles if they never stop doing AoE on them……..
This is a nightmare solo and I was doing amazing on my first run until I hit this boss like a brick wall.
