Outriders Worldslayer Update Patch 1.23 had some great quality of life fixes, and a couple hidden nerfs. One everyone will hate, and one that weaken Devastators by 70%.

  1. This was mentioned in the patch notes and in another content creator's video earlier this morning. Gravity Leap was looked at as a dependent mod so it was nerfed to force Devastator's to play differently bc everyone was just using the Seismic Bleed along or using the Boulderdash glitch. Resulting in this nerf to Gravity Leap, it sucks but hopefully it is changed again as I think this is going to take ppl away from playing Devastator for a while.

  2. The main reason your build does less damage is because of the nerf to mages rage. That nerf alone (depending on the build) will represent a loss in over half of your effective anomaly power.

    Both of these changes you mentioned do impact the build, but not nearly as much. They were explicitly mentioned in the patch notes but that's neither here nor there.

  3. I'm a devestator as well, and have also noticed a huge decrease in damage. I'm using the banner lord set now and have almost perfect gear, but my damage is still pretty underwhelming compared to what it used to be.

  4. My devastator build still hit like a brick. You don't need to use reflect bullets any more to activate that 45% anomaly buff. I have anomaly on every piece of gear as well. My earthquake have hit for almost 10 million on the 3rd hit as well. I also made a melee build which i was able to max out the damage around 8 million. Im at apocalypse tier 30.

  5. First of all you don’t have to use reflect bullets (protection) to trigger the Paladin node.. You can use anything in your 3rd skill now. Paladin triggers when use use your first skill.. You’re basically wasting dps using the old rotation on Dev now.

  6. Noticed a major drop in damage Just changed a few mods on my build now running quake bleed impale and having no issues just can't kill the bosses with one rotation now no major problem.

  7. Just have to change a few mods . Add the ones that give flat ap . And ap on skill activation while using despair and the reflect bullet buff .

    I’m hitting 40 mill on 3rd quake . Probably around 100m on all three slams .

    Currently at apoc 32 . Still melting
