Outriders – 15 NEW Things You Need To Know Before You Pre-Order

Public perception really seems to have turned around for Outriders of late. While people were initially skeptical about yet another looter shooter, the new details and gameplay footage that have been shared over time have consistently looked good, while the recent demo has been met with strong responses all around. There’s certainly more excitement surrounding the launch of Outriders now than one would have thought possible not too long ago.

We recently covered some of the most crucial details about the game, talking about its endgame content, its classes, and much more, but given the fact that there’s still plenty left to talk about, here, we’ll be going over a few more key details you should know about the game ahead of its launch.

  1. That quote about the devs being open the adding a battlepass is wrong, they cut up the quote to look like that. The actual line there is "Of course, it doesn’t close for us the option in the future to just add content but not like a microtransaction or game passes, more like the bigger components that can come if players will be interested want to go deeper into our world, play in that world.". They deleted my other comment with 2 links showing the real full quote. Misinformation.

  2. No one knows how long it will be on GamePass. I for one, was never going to buy this game. Unless the reviews were impressive. But since it’s on GamePass. I’ll try it. If the game surpasses my expectations and eventually leaves the service, I’ll consider buying it.

  3. Seeing all the comments sayings it's free on Gamepass… Since when has gamepass ever been free. I love gamepass, but I would never say "I can play games for free with Gamepass!". Plus you don't get any of the DLC with gamepass. You have to pay for those yourself, and if you stop paying for gamepass… Say goodbye to that DLC you paid for. Microsoft has cleverly marketed Gamepass. Like I said. I love it, and use it pretty regularly… But it's not free. So stop lying to yourself.
