Now that Outriders is fully out, I thought I would provide some basic, but in my opinion, essential advice for when you start playing to maximize your time, gear, and skills. Those things include: advice on leveling gear, auto-loot, maximizing world tier efficiency, status effects and what they do, the Stash, modding and crafting, and some in game options you might want to enable or disable.

  1. Just thought I'd mention that if you dismantle a legendary you get the rarity 3 mod and that can be slotted into a gun of your choosing. Depending on the quality of the legendary you might be better off scrapping it instead of leveling it up over and over.

  2. Thank you for putting the level of dedication and thoroughness I've come to love from your Destiny videos into this new game. I've been playing it with friends, and these tips are definitely going to help.

  3. This must be a completely different game on PC, because I fond the game to be DRASTICALLY easier solo, expeditions included. I didn't really hit a wall until world tier 10. The issue of playing with a group is ensuring that people aren't spamming CC or using freeze/sow or stun abilities in excess causing an enemy to become temporarily immune to stuns just when they need to be stunned.
Most legendary weapons can't have their variant adjusted, I found legendary mods to be a hell of a lot more useful on epic items that I could customize to my playstyle.
The only real struggle that took me a while to get around was working on accolades, they don't give anything other than an achievement and cosmetics, but they force you use change your playstyle, and some of the abilities feel really redundant.

  4. Apparently there's no experience difference between WT1 and WT15, it's just a matter of enemy difficulties and bonuses.

However, having made it through the game on WT1 and getting equipment drops at level 33, it's not really clear how to get the equipment that will let me survive higher tiers, 4-6.

  5. 1 play the game
2 beat the campaign on all characters
3 play expeditions for a few days straight
4 get disappointed bc it’s legendary drop rate and the amount of content is just as bad as anthem.

  6. Dude, I feel bad for you that almost any other video that you make that isn't related to destiny gets way less views. I GET it, since it's not destiny. But still.

  7. If any Devastators/Trickster duos or even 3s. Dev/Trick's last ability has a buggy interaction which is chessy. Trick uses Rift to pull things up (or use weapon, wont spoil it) to lift them and then the Dev uses their last ability (Succ Rock) and it will "lock" the enemy in the air as long as the Dev weaves his Succ Rock inbetween shooting/other abilities. Doesn't work on the Overly Healthly floating bois and some others requires it will sorta (Pretty much anything that floats on its own is 50/50 on it working or not)
