i think that outriders not being a live service game is concerning. The games lifecycle is very diminished because of this and it could be extremely bad if they mess up launch.

By the way the endgame is structured, to me at least, it’s a bit concerning. I don’t want to speed run content to get rewards. I want to get a group of 6-8 and do a raid.
And interesting mix of gears of war and destiny. Its had my interest piqued for awhile so I've been following it closely

Being honest here! The hardest thing outriders will have to compete with is really convincing players to shift over from other games like destiny & division 2. So many players have invested 5 years plus into these other games & spent so much money into there progress & character, I find alot of players will play these new games for 1 month & then return back to their long term already invested game because they don't want to fall behind.
The one thing that outriders will win me over with is….will they have a player trading system, to a degree? And please do not bring in pvp! Far too many cheaters & hackers on others games now.
This all looks to good to be true.
Demo progress carrying over to official launch is a huge plus. I hate playing a beta and having to create a character again and get back to where I was.

Such a shame its not a live service
Expeditions end game seem cool specially since theres what, 11 of them? But whats going to happen is ppl will find the best 2 or 3 that are easier than all the rest and those will become the only ones ppl will run. It will get boring fast. Unless diff loot is tired to diff expeditions. Maybe make the loot change on a weekly basis to cycle in and out new/different expedition maps.
There's only one fact you need to know. Don't set your expectations to be high, you will be disappointed. (At least that's the trend in games today)

How long does the demo period last
I feel like gamers have to make this game a statement. I feel obligated to buy it just to prove to companies that when you do pro consumer stuff like put the game on all platforms, cross play and just try to make a good finished game and not try and force microtransactions or battle passes or loot boxes etc. into the game, you can still make money and the community will reward you with that. When this stuff fails it just incentivizes companies to go back to doing scummy stuff.

This was great to show my skeptical friend thats over the looter shooters and was burned by destiny, division, anthem , avengers, the list could go on. Its great to see someone finally looking at games like diablo and borderlands realizing that the live service model is dying fast. Can't wait for this game, i was dissapointed it was pushed but happy that they are taking the time they need. I am of the camp that devs shouldn't care how mad people get about delays and release the game when its ready (gamer during the age of blizzard when delays could be as long as 2-3 years ….lol)

I'm looking forward to getting my hands on this game because it looks promising. People Can Fly did it so I have hope since they did Gears of War back in the day and it kind of reminds me of Gears. The sad thing is that I see why Avengers looks dead because Square enix looks like they are focused on this game instead understandably.
So this is warframe/anthem in one. But no open world, no pvp, no live content, etc etc. This game is doomd, you can come back to this comment after this game die in yust few months after launch. Thanks
