What is outriders firepower: Firepower increases the weapon damage your character deals. The increase is displayed in the weapon damage bonus statistic. What is outriders Anomaly power? Anomaly power increases the damage dealt by melee, skills and status effects. The increase is displayed in the skill damage bonus statistic.   1. both FP and AP should be fairly equal just with one bursting with skills then finishing with guns and the other using skills to buff their guns. middle trees should be about debuffing and be a synergy of AP and FP. Sorta how it is now but there is still a HUGE gap between the top FP builds and the top AP builds. and for majority of the classes middle tree might as well not exist. the problem really comes down to the gear and mods you need to make an AP build work, more defensive builds having next to no value while guns can be buffed by just using a skill and fire power always buffing gun damage with reload really being your only cooldown. AP builds can only do damage when skills are off cooldown or when you have very specific mods on your gun.

  2. your right about pyromancer, great for debuffs and crowd control
    techno feels like it has the best per shot dmg builds while trickster has the best dps builds especially with auto shottys
    devastator is really tanky and can just run in to crowds and spread dots and aoe dmg

  3. As a Devastator, I started with a firepower build, but switched to Anomaly around CT12 and haven't looked back, and am having a blast. Currently CT15 and can solo gold some expeditions, silver and bronze all of the others and no I don't use emergency stance or any exploits. Anomaly for the win. My Trickster is currently CT9 and I'm looking to go bottom tree as well…I'm looking to build around the Edge of Time armor set, and run LMG's, as I really enjoy the temporal blade and cyclone slice skills. The firepower builds don't even use armor sets, rely on emergency stance(patch coming) and seem too tedious, and boring. Lot's of people that came from the Division 2 are running those firepower builds…IMO, they are missing out.

  4. I feel anomaly should be stronger then gun dmg, they emphasize anomaly being an amazing thing throughout the story, everyone has guns but the most feared are ppl that can use anomaly. But those that can infuse there guns then those weapons should do a bit more dmg than ones that can't. But the chars that can infuse there anomaly powers into there guns shouldn't be too op because the power you have are the reason everyone fears and worship you. So anomaly should be king over all else. Anomaly powers are what make you unique to the game. Otherwise your just one of the bunch with a gun.

  5. How about letting people play what they wish and do equally viable damage across builds instead of suggesting people who enjoy shooting in a shooter should do less damage than skill users?

  6. To put it simply people don’t play anomaly because they don’t understand the classes in depth ct15 is easy to get without legendaries or t3s. For pyro just debuff and use middle tree dev use melee builds trickster debuff and techno has massacre (and is the only class that can get over a million anomaly power by itself)

  7. Under ideal circumstances shooting and using anomalies would naturally work together, and boost each other, not be in competition. When you're playing the normal content where you don't need insane amounts of damage to actually kill anything that actually works really well. The problem is that they made all the typical mistakes of screwing up endgame balance.

  8. There are so many gun games out there that focuses on gun play 1st and abilities 2nd. To be able create an anomaly build and just use your abilities and have guns as a backup is an awesome choice to have.

  9. The problem i have with anomaly builds is getting the armor sets to be productive. I gave up on my main pyro because I couldn't get anything useful to drop. I switched over to the techno and its like easy mode

  10. Your statement "Some Ppl are playing the game the way it is not intended" this is so correct as to why its so many complaints bc they don't understand how to play and that certain characters are meant for team roles. For example: the Devastator Tank will help with healing and aggro.

  11. Good Video Laser. I think the problem with anomaly builds is that they take longer to acquire than a firepower build and people just want to pew pew right away. People watch pro players on their streams and want to copy paste their build when in a game like this that offers 350 mods to play the way you want, you should try builds for yourself and run with whatever you have more fun with. Do I think anomaly builds need buffing. No, it just takes longer to get the right mods and set of equipment to make them as strong or stronger than firepower.

  12. I'm using an AP Trickster. Its biggest strength is that you don't have to worry about taking too much damage (Except for the rare instance where you get one-two comboed by a brood mother) because YOU HEAL FASTER THAN THE ENEMIES CAN DAMAGE YOU. No joke, Cyclone Slice with high skill life leech makes you virtually immortal while cutting away at bosses, especially against monsters since they're so melee reliant and just get shredded by you while you're focusing the boss. I frequently score the most damage in expeditions by the sheer fact that I'm just almost always dealing damage. And I don't even have Deathshield or the full set bonus for the legendary Edge of Time armor set that doubles Cy slash and Temp Blade's damage.

  13. Fundamental problem with Expeditions, is it is based on time, so DPS is King. They should make some of them on actually clearing them, and allowing classes to function properly. Team comp could be Tank, Healer, Debuff/CC or any combination. Not putting a good team together would end in failure. Keep the speed clears for those who like them, but give us options.

  14. I think Anomaly Builds should slightly edge out Firepower Builds since the whole premise of being Altered and all is simply that you do have these otherworldly powers. That being said, I personally enjoy the gunplay in this game a lot so I like my Trickster firepower build though it would also be fun to make use of the skills heavily as well. If both build types are relatively equal that only helps players have options to play the game the way they like to play it and still "be effective". The ending screen should also show how much damage can be attributed to another player debuffing an enemy and such though as well; I think that would help mitigate the "You only did 40mil dmg compared to my 220mil haha".

  15. The only thing I've seen affect crit chance is that one mod that gives a flat 15% to your base 5%. Other than that, I've never seen my crit chance on any character be higher than 5%, unless you go for the head.

  16. Ive said this from the start. This game is fun but fundamental flawed. The guns should be a secondary thing in this game. Most of all the damage done should be through abilities only. Each class should be able to wipe the field with nothing but abilities and clean up whats left with guns. Also its set up in such a way that its hard as hell to survive and even harder to get that gold CT15 because of time. The system is set up where it forces you to play a certain way instead of how you want to. Not only that you get so over run with enemies that if your not doing higj damage its lights out for you. This game couls have been one of the best shooters out there…but missed the mark when it came to issues and the fact that powers were not at the forefront of every class.

  17. Playing on controller is so clunky, especially with the auto aim being weird like sticking to the chest making it impossible to hit crits. I wish there was cross progression so I can take my characters on PC.
