I like to think that because everyone is angry about the server issues, it means that the game is so good that people are angry they can't play a game they really like as much as they want to. If it was a game everyone hated, it would just be another nail in the coffin for it, but as it is, it's more like Outriders made a dash out the door only to slam its pinkie toe on the doorframe in its haste. It really f#$%ing hurts, but Outriders will survive.
they should look at borderland 3 game they can be played at offline and if you want full experience to use patch just turn on the internet. First i hype but single player campaing must online instant trash for now
I don’t know why people compared destiny to anthem to begin with anthem is clearly a looters shooter where destiny and destiny 2 is more of an MMO shooter
My only issue is the final boss fight…. It has the WORST level design choices I've ever seen… No checkpoints between the phases, completely soft locked into the boss fight, cannot change your mods or upgrades after the first time … Amazing game but this one fight is the most stupid, stressful and horribly designed thing…. Literally just give a checkpoint between the phases, that's all…
The technical problems are the no.1 concerns here. A lot of players already spill hate at the game and it can kill it. The game itself is fun, but the problem is that players can’t experience it.
It is super frustrating however there are rarely launches that do not have issues at this time. I cannot remember one recently that was not a hot mess. How they treat the community and strive to improve moving forward will determine the fate of games like this and more to come in the future. Destiny 2 Devs do a weekly update to tell the community what their plans are. It really helps when they communicate and when the community voices opinions that do not align with their plans they listen. The ability to adapt will be what helps in the future I do believe but this is trying times for developers and it is understandable that they have to work in different ways to get quality product to us. Sad but true you know with the entire Covid issue and all.

So far I’m absolutely loving this game. I’m almost done with the main story and have really enjoyed the level of difficulty and frequent loot drops. Definitely feel the Diablo inspiration and hope they make some expansions in the near future!
I'm not a huge looter shooter guy. I haven't been totally raking through the content, I've had my bogged down areas where i have to replay it a ton of times, but I think a level raise is a fine idea, just don't go too crazy
Shouldn’t be on Game Pass, simple as that. Whatever the deal is for it to be on there is damaging the game and isn’t worth it. I would expect there’s quite a few refunds being requested and people who put off preordering are probably not going to buy it as it currently stands.

The game literally says single player on my steam, so why is it always online.? lol They just need to update it to make a offline-online options in no its not that hard online features are added features it nothing but a damn add-on that can easily be fix just by giving you a option like they did in Gears of War. Fun game by the way. lol
Tried playing Friday night. Servers were dead. Tried to play yesterday. Helped my friend do 2 short missions from the demo. Plagued by bugs the entire time. Game crashed on him, which got me stuck in the host connection screen. Then I went to log on and was down. I'd wager half of my "playtime" was loading a screens and connection errors. This games load times are too awful to constantly be disconnecting
This game will be so much better if it wasn't an only online game, if they allow you to play offline this will fix the game immediately because it doesn't make sense that you have millions of people on a server when most of them are playing offline.
We gotttttaaaaa stop accepting "They didn't know it would be so popular" as an excuse. This game had massive marketing for a long time, was supposed to be a cross play looter shooter (something people have wanted for a long time), and a successful beta. They knew what was coming. No excuse for so much marketing and so little server stability.
Wouldn't be a problem for the level increase as long as they lessen the requirement to level up the gear so you don't necessary need to farm the same equipment again and can still grow while enjoying the new content.
Theres a reason for This, they didnt know that this game had that much hype so they have to make make servers. Also, every online game that release is known to have problems but usually will be fixed with a patch or two its not a big deal. My biggest gripe is the laziness of not adding a chat system to people who are mute I hate this trend where new games come out like this and chat system is not there. I also hate the abysmal map system in this game id like to smack who was in charhe of that right in the face. But, other than that the game is super fun.
Why talk about server issues in a review? By the time you come out with that review the issues with the servers might not be a thing. Having that in the review would be misleading if the servers are doing better. which as of today 04/04/2021 servers seems to be doing a lot better. Just matchmaking is still kind of broken!

I went with trickster and it is fun as hell. Kind of hard to solo a lot of missions because of squish. But yeah servers are a dumpster fire.

The game is great but they need to fix the sign in and network issues. I also think enemies are super accurate but that's ok. Im only wt7

I think every new level cap should come with new gear sets new mods. So you are not grinding for old stuff over and over it would always be new 🤔

The Division 2 is better in every way, just everybody only cares about the shiny thing for 2 weeks.
They have bad servers. I can't play sometimes. I can't log in. I hope to fix this problem soon.
