  2. This is how you can reveal a game not only do they tell us everything from the get-go and the transparency of the graphic is fantastic because yes lots of people have gaming pcs but not everyone has an amazing pc. The fact they are considering people who don't have high end machines shows that they want everyone to play their game

  3. " but i think you will agree with me, showing isnt quite as powerful as you discovering the game for yourself first hand "
that alone deserved a like lol
edit : btw, what about ng+ or if i join a friend with expeditions gear and he is just starting the game ? RaisesEyebrowInBorderlands3

  4. This is what I wanted gears 5 to be (let's face it 5 gears games and you really can't tell them apart except for graphics).

Sadly this game still needs a bit of work.
Firstly everyone I speak to someone one of my arms disappears, its not a very I depth rpg – no attribute changes and very basic skill tree.
Only being allowed to equip 3 skills is a let down and we are weak compared to captains and other altered who can use skills a lot more often then us and they are much better and much stronger then our skills.
Handguns feel pretty useless at the moment and need a little buff.
Graphics are not as good as you would think they would be sadly and the world (so far in the demo) feel small and very linear where I would prefer a more division type open space with a bit of canyons and caves.

Apart from all of that I really like the game.
The characters are likable and you instantly feel a connection and that you might get a little annoyed if one dies.
The story so far is gripping and leaving me wanting more. I played techno guy first and felt that the abilities are a little lackluster (I mean a grenade as an ability?!? – all classes should have a grenade ability not as a skill).

Still annoyed it was delayed because I'm left with nothing decent to play while in lockdown – I've ended up binge watching big bang theory (again) and messing around on sea of thieves while I wait to be entertained.

  5. Not exactly "SWARMING" with side quests there are 4 and 5 main mission not exactly swarming, yes you can replay it with all characters but even after the first 2 is gets a little boring and quicker/easier to complete because you know what's coming. This demo has been better than majority of demos out there but not as good as we have been lead to believe.
so far the game has been very linear they say explore but there sint anything to explore I mean you do a mission and there is only 1 path – 1 way to go, yes maybe a doorway or a corner to look around but that's it. Character creation is way to basic and the presets (only things you can choose) are 3 ugly as sin 2 just plain weird and 2 that are decent enough and don't get me started on the bizarre hairstyles!

  6. The character creator is lame. Doesn't anyone in this game have blonde hair or did those people get biologically erased? I had fun playing this today. I watched the ACG review and felt like he was nitpicking it too much but I do agree the character generator is lame. Matchmaking today was pretty much non-existant for grouping. Nobody could be found to play on PC

  7. Also, is the demo like the final product or is it many iterations behind what we are going to get? It scares me that People Can Fly might be so nervous on the release of this game because it's not quite done yet or what you envisioned entirely. Please reassure us…honestly.

  8. The problem with this multiplayer as you call it is you CAN'T communicate with anyone that's is a TERRIBLE recipe for disaster. The number one rule in a PUG Multiplayer is the ability to communicate. Yes Yes their are tools out there but that takes time to set up with people you can't communicate with (sarcasm)..

  9. I was converted by the demo. The tutorial area is deceptive: that is NOT the game you'll be playing in an hour. I kinda wonder if the cover system should've just been done away with the devs going all in on a DOOM approach instead of taking a page from Division. I keep seeing people comparing it to Divinity or Gears, but it's just not that game and people expecting it are gonna be disappointed. Outriders does its own run'n'gun thing, and it does it well.
