  1. Taking out timed gameplay is the best news. I wanted to enjoy these new maps and these intense boss fights they introduced. Hopefully the endgame gets extended and maybe they do put a hoard mode or maybe even a raid with deeper mechanics. A bigger emphasis on tanking, crowd control, and dps of course. Looking foward to the future.

  2. I certainly hope you guys are also adding a save loadout option and at least 4 or 5 loadout saves so we don't have to keep going back and redoing stuff over and over when we find certain build looks that we like.

  3. respect. this update sounds great! but not gonna lie here: this is what we should have been given weeks after release, not months. nontheless, at least this makes it highly possible that i will buy any future content for this game

  4. Happy to jump back in! It’s the least I can do to show my appreciation for this title. You guys have built a lot of goodwill, Outriders bypasses a lot of modern gaming’s baggage and bs.

  5. So everything was rebalanced to make the game incredibly easy (making us tankier, multiple class buffs, removing expedition timers, and so on) but nothing was done to rebalance enemies to keep the gameplay engaging and challenging?

    – No changes to the interrupt system making it essential when it comes to eliminating enemy elites? Why is this system even in the game at this point if it’s so underutilized?

    – No bosses added to expeditions?

    – No changes to expeditions to compensate for the removal of timers?

    I really don’t think making the game as easy as possible was the best move, as it all this will do is make it less engaging and boring. If you want to make our characters stronger, and offer more build diversity, that’s fine, but SOMETHING has to be done to enemies to compensate for the changes.

  6. I'm so glad they didn't give up on this game! I was having Anthem flashbacks of how EA pulled the plug right in the middle of the Devs working hard to fix the game. Needless to say, I was extremely upset at EA. They not only slapped the Devs in the face, but the community as well.

    Like Anthem, Outriders has real potential. And just like Anthem, the core game experience is really good. It just needs commitment and determination to fix and improve it. Thank you Square Enix for not giving up! This game and the Devs deserve to see this through for a long as possible.
