Outriders Bug – Don't waste your time farming legendary weapons

Hi guys, today I am sharing a video which you NEED to know because people are losing legendary weapons for no fault of their own. Square Enix are reportedly aware of this so I wanted to let you know as this topic has not been widely spoken about.

If you want to do more research check out reddit or do a google search. It’s sad but it’s true. I’d stay away from legendary farming until this has been resolved.

Players are still reporting missing legendary weapons post update however it is happening less frequently now.

  1. I cannot relate to this because I use a different platform(Xbox) but I have a roommate that didn't any sort of issue in regards to legendaries disappearing in the inventory on his PS. So, I wouldn't agree with the title of the video but.. What I can say is and hopefully you didn't mess with the console factory settings too much or mod the console in any sort of way that affected the console's save data or whatever. But I would make sure those settings in dns is set to auto. And I would take a look at the save data itself. So, I'm not sure how PS save data works or if it uses the same method as Xbox. Since this isn't widely talk about. It's probably because only a few people is experiencing the bug. But I would seriously take a look at your console settings and see you didn't change anything that fits how you want it to run but not specifically for the Outrider Demo and if so, then you have to change it back in whatever it is you did to get that way. Only if you are absolutely and positively sure that it isn't a "You/Me/Console" problem. I always mess with my DNS settings from auto to manual but sometimes I forget to switch it back to auto in order to get those Console updates to kick back in but that's just an example of the console settings that people mess with. I wouldn't know how one would play around with their save data. I don't play around with the console save data to know what are the adverse effects besides potentially losing your save point etc. but potentially gaining or taking advantage of the "save mechanic" in games. I just thought I'd share that little tidbit while I'm on break before trying to get my 3rd leggo to drop.

  7. Glad someone made a video about this. I lost two legendary weapons this way, amber vault and the thunderbird (I think those are the names). I have realized the only loot that is safe is the loot that is equipped to your character… PC by the way

Same thing happened to me my legendary sniper dissappear from my inventory and then another great blue auto riffle dissappear from my inventory the only way to stop thus is keeping ur legendary equipped all the time and not In ur inventory it won't dissappear if u have it equipped I told dpj about this and I don't think he believed me

  13. I had this happen to regular gear, but it was my mistake, I just shut my console off instead of logging out of the game force a save. Sounds like thats what you did.
