The left is the original, the right is after some extremely basic post processing (more exposure, more highlights, significantly more shadows, some sharpening, some smart contrast). Even though I was adding filters to the visuals, the end result looks like I’ve actually removed a horrible grey/brown filter from the original. The original tone is just so washed out that it hides all of the detail and contrast the artists tried to put into these environments.
