  1. Definitely a good idea to delay because outriders is the next "big" game to come out after cyberpunk and if it isn't anything but perfect I feel like itll be a total shit show. That plus it's the 1st game of 2021 there's definitely alot riding on this game and theres alot of eyes on it

  2. I hope these character animations are not final. They are so bad and clunky, it looks like an early 2000 game.
In the cut scenes they are a bit better but still like a 15 years old game.

  3. I would rather a game be delayed to fix bugs than to be released as a buggy mess. However, with regard to Cyberpunk 2077, it was delayed so many times and they still had a crap ton of bugs. I can't even get it now as a PS4 owner. I am glad that Sony stepped in to force Cyberpunk 2077 to fix their game though. I got burned by Fallout 76 and Anthem. Those games are why I don't preorder anymore. Cyberpunk was going to be my exception to that rule, but I had to miss work due to covid and had to save my money for bills. I'm in a way grateful because I would have lost my respect for CDPR.

  4. I wouldn't say that ALL the games that released last year were bad. TLOU2, Ghost of Tsushima, Doom Eternal, Animal Crossing, Final Fantasy VII Remake, Half-Life Alyx, Resident Evil 3… whether you liked those games or not, all of them released perfect out of the gate. I do agree that a lot of the big titles released in garbage state though.

  5. After what happened with Cyberpunk 2077, every company from now on needs to start paying attention to their development time and if they need to delay a game, they'd better go ahead and do it. Otherwise, they're going to have lawyers and lawsuits riding their tail as the games get in the hands of critical consumers. I'm glad they're offering the demo with transitional details of your character and "maybe" progress. Good on ya fellas.

  6. I understand the reason for a delay. I understand they need more time. I am OK with them delaying and working on things as they wish and trying too get everything ironed out. My only question is, why not just have an actual beta and allow testing. I said a while back, it was really weird from the start having only a very small amount of people get exclusivity to play, which was understandable, but not having a beta is again, weird. I really want this game to be good and will wait and be patient. I pre purchased a while back and just want the game to be good.

  7. Imo demos are to be expected. At current level of technology, we are able to alter the builds to bring demos without releasing the full game and give a good insight into what to expect. Games like CP2077, but even games before that like Anthem could really profited from consumer feedback. Demos are not just feedback about the game design, but can be a huge test of the software itself and help eliminate bugs in the final product (and thus decrease day 1 patch sizes).

I am more than happy to hear they delayed it, but announced a public demo without major limitations. They could easily said they bring a 1-character class only demo and leave it as is.

  8. every game should be delayed. at least 6 months. cheers. its hard to get hyped about wolcen it has been delayed so many times.. they released a 1.0 that wasnt done.. then released a season without fixing a broken game.. just shameful and poor managment.

  9. I'm not the impatient type but maybe they should stop giving a release date when they have no idea when the game will be out. If they do it for marketing reasons then i have to question their method because it give the impression that they don't really know what they're doing. But the demo is reassuring, that shows the confidence they have in their product, maybe it will inspire others to do the same.

  10. With how many games have come out in broken states, gamers as a whole should have learned by now to stop panicking when delays happen, because many developers should have delayed even more to ensure a good end product. I completely support Outriders delay and I think it's good, especially with how transparent they have been with the game and now, offering a demo.

  11. If they just delayed by itself I would of been kinda disappointed since I've been looking foward to this for a bit but since their giving us a demo in place of the full game I can't really be That upset since they've at least given us something to tide us over.

  12. I think it was delayed because of the lack of attention, not many people were talking about this game…the demo is good cause it can build some hype while also allowing people experience the game before you buy…much respect to the devs for that
