Try that Trickster man, it's sick. Glad someone feel almost exactly the same about this demo/game as I do. I love me some Borderlands, but this may be my new looter shooter!
I've had a blast with the demo. I've got a date with my kid brother tomorrow to try out the co-op.
The best analogy I've come up with is that the game feels like a superhero/shooter mashup. You didn't mention the actual altered fight, did you play far enough to go through that?
Just a thought, when you said you were left with nothing after Anthem I'm surprised because there is actually Warframe which oddly enough if Warframe and The Division had a baby it would be Outriders, you might want to check out Warframe.
Its rubbish, a mix of Destiny, Rage, mad Max all rapped up in third person only console game ported to pc. Boring and non interesting and it gets boring very quick.
