The Outriders Demo is still going, but I’m done. Outriders gameplay is a solid content loop, but what about an Outriders demo review? How did it do?
The Outriders demo went live on February 25th and was met with mostly positive feedback from the community. People Can Fly quickly addressed an Outriders Legendary farm that was getting a bit out of hand while also ensuring Outriders Legendary Weapons were still farmable in the right places. After almost an entire month, the Outriders twitter outlined the stats for the demo and also announced that Outriders game pass on Xbox will be a thing.

LONO THE LEGEND!
I’ve got over 200 hours. Mostly because I’m actually trying to a) of course grind for those legendaries; b) actually figure out how these classes work, and what different mods on gear do. Also, I don’t think I really have over 200 hours. I think the game doesn’t fully log you out, and the timer just keeps on ticking.
I stopped after completing one character and maxing out the world tier. Burnout is inevitable in any game. I would rather burnout on the full product rather than be burned out by the demo and get drained faster after release.

Outriders has a good look from the demo and the transparency of the marketing.
Alas, I am not in the mood to play a dark, gory game right now – yet I hope Outriders finds success in the market.

They said they’re looking into sorting out the cover mechanics/rounding corners etc which will be great. They want to make it approachable to players who may have come from cover shooters. But still keeping it “less of a cover shooter”
I hope the servers hold up
18-20mil subs is a lot. and it will only keep on growing. MS has done a lot right, let's hope they are able to bring a lot of that stuff over to PC/Ultimate Game Pass.
