Outriders | Firepower Trickster Mod Priority (Feat. Strong Twist & Why Strong Twist Is Bad)

Full Build Guide: https://youtu.be/FogdMt6TOmA
Hope this helps a few of you as to why I run certain mods with the new Trespassers Time Rift build!
If you hear some guitaring, that’s my dad popping off and my noise gate saying, god damn, it’s so hot, gotta pick it up LUL

Apparently I can’t read and kept pronouncing Buckshot Shells to Shotgun Shells LUL x420

2:00 I meant really would have liked to test Buckshot (Shotgun) Shells not Stare Into The Barrel. Tongue Tied LUL

0:00 Intro
0:32 Double Time
1:50 Buckshot Shells/Stare Into The Barrel
4:07 Geiger’s Wave
6:38 Strong Twist
9:48 End

  1. So if you don't use strong twist, then what would you recommend in place of it? I'm not a fan of Captain Hunter since it's only a 25% boost against an Elite. Standing tall seems like a really good alternative.

  2. Strong twist is only misleading to those who do not know how twisted rounds work. Twisted rounds damage scales off of firepower but the firepower on the skill scales off anomaly power. Twisted rounds scales off 35 % of anomaly power. Strong twist adds to the firepower of twisted rounds by 15%. So Strong twist makes Twisted rounds scale off 50% of a characters anomaly power. A character that has 200,000 anomaly power with a strong twist mod will get 30,000 firepower passively. A character with the same anomaly power would have a 100,000 increase firepower with just Twisted rounds. Twisted rounds while putting points in bottom tree instead of the top tree scales this way.

  3. Great info and stats, I noticed "you guys" Deathshields are at 99.4 firepower!!! Man I've grinded for months and months, my highest Deathshield is 97.5, is there some sort of trick getting it to 99.4?

  4. Cute mod interaction I've been deeply enjoying whilst leveling a Trickster and working on getting all the pieces of a more proper build put together: Pain Transfer mirrors our the damage from 'A Little Bit of Pain', the otherwise super forgettable DoT mod for Time Rift. If you get one of those super juicy Rifts where you catch 10+ critters in it, all of their 'A Little Bit of Pain' damage is transferred to everyone else, magnified by Trespasser set bonus, and the whole-ass pack dies before the Time Rift casting animation finishes and you can fire a shotgun blast. It's a crap combo for super lategame, but for the moment I don't really have a choice but to run LBoP…and frankly, watching a ~5s cooldown Time Rift be a more effective AoE nuke than anything but an absolutely maxed-out Overheat Pyro…from a Firepower Trickster …is too funny not to enjoy while I'm working on proper mods.

  5. Great vid man! We need more vids like this. Would love to know all the ins and outs of mods and skills that scale to anomaly or/vs firepower. There’s a lot of blanks to fill in this space me thinks
