Earth was fast approaching its use by date.
Humanity started looking beyond Earth, in search of new planets they could settle on.
Scouting probes eventually return promising results on a planet named Enoch, that would be able to provide an experience similar to Earth.
The major governments of Earth combine their resources under the newly formed Enoch Colonization Authority (ECA).
A group called, the Outriders, was established to be the first people to set foot on an alien planet. They were supposed to be the best of humanity in such a situation.
They were mercenaries, survivors, and explorers.
Their mission was to secure a perimeter, and prepare for the landing of the colony ship.

Hey, you two things you got mixed up. The earthquakes on Earth were caused by governments on earth directly, with machine. As well as August, was not used for bone marrow and spinal fluid, humans were.
This game is so much fun. I got addicted and played 200 hours in 2 weeks. Today i cleared boom town CT15 in sub 4 minutes. Felt great
August isnt held for a antivenom for the anomaly btw. Its for the fungus thats running rampant in the forest

When you reach the end of the game just to find out that Monroy fucked over everyone from the beginning over an assumption, I was glad as hell when Channa just executed his ass when she got tired of his bullshit… The prologue of the game was literally after the damage that Monroy has done. His idea DID give humans powers but his actions basically caused the end of the world treatment just like Earth. This story reminds me of the Bloodborne storyline where that 1 student (forgot his name) branched out and fucked around and found out that his idea literally ended humanity as well and you had to clap his ass (In the Bloodborne DLC, to where you had to fight that flaming Vicar, THAT Jackass)
This games felt like a mashup between mass effect and gears of war. Got kinda bored towards the end. Wtf happened with Moloch? One quick fight abs that’s all? I thought he was the end all boss. And Yagak…man. There was a lot of missed opportunities here for story stuff. Haven’t done multiplayer yet and not sure I want to. Doesn’t seem very fun but I could be wrong. Not trashing the game. I enjoyed it, just seems like a reblend of other games. I played as a pyro using volcanic rounds 100% uptime and it was nice to use skills and guns. Swapped to faser last night and almost impossible to die

Enoch messed up because Monroy decided to enslave natives. Darn it, old man. That's why people decided to left him on Earth.
