Outriders Game DELAYED! But You Can Play it EARLY for FREE!

What is Outriders? – https://youtu.be/mKwua7pqmx0
Unfortunately Outriders has delayed their release date to April 1st, 2021. BUT, there’s a free demo for all on February 25th, 2021 AND progress will carry over to the full release! So keep an eye out for more news on that. I’ll be updating you as much as I can before launch.

Hopefully this is the last delay. At least we'll all get to check out the demo/beta with progression carrying over!
    — I just saw on the subreddit that the demo won't have an end date, so you can run around and do whatever within the first few campaign missions 'til the game comes out 😉

  2. Delays always sucks but it’s better being a beta tester for a free demo than for a full priced game 😉
Still looking forward to Outriders and will definitely play the beta.
Any update on your streaming schedule?

  3. Honestly this is the best thing they could've done. Means the game is not ready yet and after the fiasco that was CP2077 giving people access to a demo so we can give the right feedback will make the game launch in a way better state than if only devs were bug testing. This is actually what a lot of people is asking Bungie to do so in my eyes is a great thing

  5. I never knew this game existed untill last week. Outriders looks amazing, and I respect the push back. Most games dont even care about bugs they just want the money. Anthem was a perfect example of this.

  6. Having a demo is a major plus point for me, if a dev is prepared to show it's wares before release then they are confident. It can go wrong (Andromeda) but fingers crossed for this.

  7. It looks good, it's launching as a complete game, and some people may have forgotten but there's still a plague on. They can take the time they need to get it right.

  9. I normally see it as a positive when a game is delayed. Why? Because we have seen so many games being released way too early. Being disappointed is a bit silly. It's a game, there are many other great games to play in the time you wait. I would rather wait 3 months longer and get a more polished game than get it earlier.

  10. oh and lol, i feel like a lot of devs and teams noticed what sony did to cd red. i dont blame them, this should set a huge standard for devs on the seriousness of releasing a game that actually works.

  11. Though it is distressing to have the game delayed, I can certainly support a free demo. Also, coming at the game from the Warframe community, several of the WF youtubers I follow are also covering the game. Seems like the word is getting out about the game, but perhaps rather slowly.

  12. Irks me when people conflate a beta and a demo. Betas are unfinished products, available to players to help with finalization and feedback. A demo is a sample of a finished product designed to preview what a product has to offer the consumer.

    Demos are consumer friendly.
Betas are free quality & reliability testing.

Regardless, strong work on what you cover tho.
