I installed the the preload and the outriders demo disappeared on my desktop.
I hope it'll be more customization options later on.
Can't wait to play on Stadia! The game has full crossplay so I can play with other PC players but I don't have to worry about my PC specs, storage space, or buying a new console to play. Devastator is awesome!

If you are playing through gamepass on console, you need to do the pre-load via the Xbox App. At least that's how it was for me
I'm playing it on Steam. At least they aren't making Steam players wait because the Epic store can't preload games. Maybe Epic should get busy and add new features. They still don't have achievements.

I like how without warning as soon as I started downloading the game my demo version evaporates from both my library and desktop. Thanks for the heads up.
I just pre-loaded the game, to the same disk i had the demo on, and now the demo is overwritten with the full game (on steam)

As others have pointed out, when you preload the game you lose the demo. Wish I would have known that but its not the end of the world. I'll just play tomorrow night.
