1. If PCF are going to do dlc then they definitely need to make sure it's worth while and not some buggy botched half baked dlc. The game plays better than it ever did I totally agree.

4. Uninstalled a while ago.. game was unplayable due to Unreal Engine 4 Madness crashes… now I can't get myself to reinstall it to see if it's been fixed. Maybe if/when they add some more end game content I'll see if it's playable. Meanwhile I still peek in on vids about it. The parts I did play were enjoyable.

7. I would pay money for a podcast with: Cloud – Born2Game (for the brutal honesty), Ltbuzzlitebeer – Capo (honest embassadors with lots of community expierence) Ben Lee and Babbleon (for the endless positivity) maybe thats a podcast the devs would take serious or would actually really join in on

10. Tried this game out again after taking a couple months off. Got on good, although the aim was clunkier than ole fk, was running thru everything with my maxed out techno blighted build, had a cross player join and all of a sudden I was using a whole BR clip on one simple enemy, in the end I got 2 of the exact same legendary boots (torrential downpour) dropped from the one pod. Brought me back to reality and made me slap myself so I'd understand why I shut it down for 2 months. Game does not exist on my hard drive as of now. Good luck to the 600 who still give this game hope

11. Nah, they get no second chance.

    The game still has huge issues and even after four months they are struggling to fix them, their totally out of their depth.

    That much has been clear.

    They don't listen and when they make changes their incredibly poor. The "buffs" were tiny cooldown reductions and the problem is they don't care.

    Don't know how you can say its in a good place when it's clearly not.

    The damage mitigation bug has never been fixed, it had a very stagnant bandaid fix which was just a health buff, which was a very poor substitute and isn't even close to making up for the mitigation.

    The numbers are dwindling continually not because of its lack of content but the still prevalent issues and Pcf handling of the problem.

    It's not too much to ask for a game to be in a decent place, people pay for a game to be good upon release but it wasn't and still isn't but, but outriders never has been, nor have the developers.

    Outriders needs a new studio, get rid of Pcf in its entirety as their incapable of being AAA, and should focus on indie projects.

    Current steam charts has it at 1472, peaking at 1528 which is incredibly poor and its unlikely to improve much even with dlc, and i suspect that will be nothing special or worth bothering with.

    For a company who says this is their long term priority it certainly doesn't look like their treating it such.

    I tried to return a few days ago to give one last chance and nothing has changed.

Apparently I was one of the lucky ones and I really never had any issues, a couple glitches here and there but other than that the game has worked really well for me, took me about two months to get my pyromaster but then when I had that down it only took me one day to my tech romancer because unfortunately I have a PlayStation 4 that I was able to use with my Xbox S to build myself up with another character, but so far so good been working for me.

13. I am totally behind this podcast even for just a few episodes. I also agree that that if you look at it objectively this game has come from so far after launch, sure its not absolutely perfect but its pretty much in-line with most games in terms of quality. every games has bugs, and to be honest for a smaller developer I think they are not doing so bad. like I get why people have a sour taste in their mouth, I preordered this as well. 4 months in they fixed a lot of what was wrong with the game. I personally still play every now and then because at its core its fun as hell and i hope we eventually get some new content so it can liven back up. Its not the same game that it was at launch, that's for sure.

A lot of content creators earn their bread by creating negative content criticizing and nit picking everything, admittedly there is often a lot wrong with the games to criticize nowadays, but these same reviewers never ever give positive feedback when things go right with the game or when issues are fixed and gameplay experiences are improved for players, never do they do that, not ever ! Things that make you go hmmmm.

    Cloud plays seems to moreso balance his criticisms with positive feedback and suggestions, when appropriate, as in when there are improvements made to the game, that’s why I like to watch his channel

15. Drops are still a joke… I stand by my statement that they secretly reverted the drops on the last patch. I have done 75-100 ct15s and have not found a single piece of siesmic set

16. I havent had big issues either been playing since demo.my biggest 2 complaints 1. Shouldnt have nerfed and 2. Loot drop rate thought it was supposed to be better got 3 funerals in one drop pod had 4 already.thats just one of many

17. 1. It took them till end of August to make the game feel like a complete game. Prior, it was in a weird state where loot was bad but connections were good or loot was good and connection was bad.

    2. They are transparent (to a point) to the community about buffs and nerfs. They need to be more transparent on the work in the background. Is there stuff being worked on? Don't let the veterans die off. When/If new DLC or content drops.. they are banking on everyone coming back

18. This game left just such a bad taste in my mouth that by the end, I felt the only reason I was playing was to make videos. I realised that wasn't a good reason to keep playing so I stopped and haven't looked back. I recently got the new Aliens game which is quite similar to Outriders except it's easily 100% better so simply put, no reason to come back.

20. The state of the game? I think we are past that. The question should be "The state of PCF". After all you can still enjoy an busted game to an extent. However if the dev is clueless, no matter how enjoyable the game, they can kill it. I have been PC gaming since the mid 70's and I have seen game devs pull some weird crap and though PCF isn't the worst, they have a ways to go to get where they should be. That includes both how they handle the game and the community. The worst part is they don't seem to be learning from their mistakes. For the most part it's business as usual. All I can imagine is when they take criticism, everyone at PCF stands up, covers their ears and runs around screaming I CAN'T HEAR YOU! over and over.

21. logged in again, tried ct8( the max i got too) still died to a 1 shot and got bugged in that I killed all mobs, but it said I didnt and lost…reuninstalled still havent fix my main problems
