Devastator main, i hardly use my guns the class is a power fantasy and way too much fun.
If ability gameplay is what you like, devastate is for you, but be prepared to be bullied, kicked from parties and grinding for the right gear, it’s quite harder than other classes to get to tier 15, i was stuck on 13 for ages… finally hit 14 but then my Charakter got inventory wiped, I leveled a techno, reached CT 15 so darn fast it’s rediculous compared to the devastator. How ever I feel you, I’m bored just steamrolling the content so I’m quitting until my devastator is restored
That's funny. Your reasoning is exactly why I switched from Trixter to Pyro during the demo after I really looked at the skill trees. And honestly I barely ever fire my weapons.
Get a sniper with a single bullet put the grand opening class mod, u gona also need 3 earthquakes and u can do gold in ct15…devastor is quite nice for end game, i can finish most runs w 200 million done in damage, hope it helps…the sniper weapon that works better its the molten edola, but a epic one can do it 2, as long as it just have one bullet
My main is Technomancer and I love it, cause I usually go for the healer powers. But my second character is Devastator and it’s pretty fun too.
I main dev and it's so underrated imo. I regularly do most damage in expeditions while I'm running around helping other players back up from their dbno state. Keen to try techno next I reckon..
Is crazy me I switch from pyromancer to trickster I think the trickster have more damage ratio them the pyromancer the different is you have more fun with the pyro
I kept working on my pyro and got it up to 1.1 million crit damage with the Inferno Seed 🙂
i was a dev main till my inventory wipe now i play cyclone trickster and really enjoying that

Pyro is the only class with an AP build that can keep up. It's sucks to be honest.
Anomaly power needs a buff on all characters
Maybe it’s just the content creators your watching because there are plenty of content creators doing pyro, techno, an devastator videos. Pyro seems to be the hot thing right now though imo. Even when I’m playing I’m seeing pyro and techno. I myself play pyro, and have noticed the switch. Seems to me devastator and tricksters are the least played right now, and for good reasons, but I think all 4 are powerful no matter how you build them. The issue is play style and do you like them.
For example I love techno blight bullets, but I dislike volcanic. I like tricksters bullet build, but only when I use it with the legendary set that lets teleport every where 😂. That by far is the funnest way to play trickster to me. I felt like a super saiyan.
You couldn't be more wrong about trickster skill damage output. Dwarfs shotgun builds
The anomaly trickster build is actually better than a gun build

You only played trickster so far so you can’t say they made all Class is not viable I’m a devastator t15 gold runs easy no matter if I go top tree little tree or bottom tree
If you farm for the legendary trickster armor it'll increase your cyclone spin and temp blade by 100% plus the desthsheild and epics/other mods. It's op
I hope they release some new classes and dlc very soon cuz I'm already worn out from trying to grind out World Tiers and Legendary weapons and armor..hopefully we get something new soon

Wait till you unlock the bullet ult that applies burn on the bullets mixed with a weapon that has perpetuum mobile along with bottom tree pyro that does more damage when burn is applied… oooo weeee
from trickster to pyro? am pyro main it is basically same gunplay as trickster sorry only class that plays diff is devastator
Yea they need to change the time system so everyone isnt forced dmg. No reward for keeping others alive or ccing ppl or going a more tanky build
They should have buffed the other trees instead of nerfing the meta builds… It's like every class can only really use 1 tree

I run the devastator and easily farm CT 15 solo. I just cleared chem plant at 8:52 and usually run less than 9:30. It's an anomaly based build focusing on bleed which is amplified by the seismic armor (need 3 pieces). I use earthquake, golem and gravity leap. The right mods are vastly important with this build and I still have some optimizing to do. Focus on farming whichever challenge tier you can complete comfortably to obtain legends (either to scrap for mods or to utilize). When you're becoming stronger, beat the next challenge tier so you can use material to take your weapons and armor to the next level. You would be surprised how much stronger you feel going up one level.
It doesn't matter which class is best if this game doesn't work, what difference does it make? (Oh yeah I've got the perfect build, oh wait, dangit I just got kicked back to home screen, wait actually it rubberbanded me back, OK im back.. wait WHERE'S ALL MY F**KING GEAR) You content creators will soon catalog your videos in the shite file right along with the anthem content creators soon enough.
I’m a trickster and I zip around killing everything I see, It’s the hardest class to master but it’s the best, trust me if your dying as a trickster your not doing it right 🙌
I main Trickster with smg atm and borrowed time. Helped my survivability alot. I didnt feel like using shotgun like everyone else.
Probably level another one and go anomaly and spin to win 😄.
Youtubers do trickster because it’s much faster to farm gun builds then anomaly builds its much harder to farm

agree with everything you say about trickster. I'm trickster main and getting a bit bored also this may just be me but coop is pointless I can't kill quick enough in coop to stay alive .
Have you tried the devastator melee build? I'm using tier 9 gear and it's holding fine at teir 14 currently and most damage dealt/taken at tier 6 expeditions no problem(trying to max tier, still new so still learning lol) mainly have anomoly power and cool down reduction for my stats on gear. Idk how it is at 15, but with good gear I assume it's nasty as well

This is EXACTLY HOW I FEEL TOO. omg it's spot on. My trickster is crazy DPS all gun that's bout it and on top that I basically have to use borrowed time for shield slash armor buff and then basically it's only hunt the prey to close down distance so it gets boring super super quiket than I expected. I took about 5days off after the week n half hard grind. But I'ma pik bak up and go pyro as well it's like this video was made just for me lol.
I got bored of my gun build on my trickster a week after release also lol. Then I jumped into an anomoly build and it was so much more fun! Even with minimum gear, there is something satisfying about running through a CT without shooting once XD, but the lack of THE mods started to hurt me when I hit world tier 12, I been playing pyro last couple days too and having so much fun with it!
I've been running a middle path pyro and can clear with gold on CT15
Main skills used are Heatwave, flame grasp (or whatever it's called) and FASER Beam.
Practically unkillable. Can solo all content so far (going to try a solo run of Eye of the Storm tonight)
And I'm not using the broken Emergency Stance mod, if you have Life of the Party T3 mod, I find its better overall.
And I am of course using a 3 piece Acari armor. I can list my mods if people are interested
