Another reason I use golem btw is because when it ends it also activates Skilled Sentry. So let’s say I’m frozen twice or stun locked for so long all my buffs from it using triple EQs ends when Golem protection ends too. Even then I will still get another buff for 50% resistance overall which is still sky high for most anomaly attacks in game combined with that much health until ultimately I heal off with my gun or skills giving me more resistance and/or until another golem is ready. If possible skill silencing is coming with Worldslayer that will further help and another reason I STILL use weapon leech healing on this build despite noting I virtually require no healing practically between golems.

Btw I really hope that rumor is untrue because skill silencing in a game like this is stupid when the whole gameplay centers around your skills as does EVERY build out there. If that beyond OP ridiculous enemy ability is coming (and I thought the resurrection ability that cannot even be countered and resurrects bosses even was a stupid ability) then there’s literally no total answer to it when your skills are everything quite literally. But it would further increase the need for armor, health, resistance, and healing that does NOT REQUIRE USING SKILLS to stay alive long enough until the stupid silencing is over.

If you know me you know I’m all about finding ways to get around stupid enemy abilities that feel designed to ensure you can’t “solo.” I once played a 2d MMO that died where it was just me and a few others with the one dev left running it and him and I got into drama repeatedly as I kept finding new ways to solo bosses on the tank class using legit builds and gear and he just kept nerfing everything under his silly belief he always told me that “Bosses aren’t SUPPOSED to be soloed where you get all the rewards too!”

Now maybe in a true mmo that’s a good point. IMO, though, teams still made the bosses much easier and quicker so who cares? It gives you the OPTION to use a team or test your knowledge and build just for the enjoyment of doing it solo.

In this game, though, the story even implies you’re alone and supposed to be this OP Altered capable of soloing every boss indeed.

I HATE mechanics in these kind of games that become literal player walls because devs get tired of seeing successful players figure out how their game works so well they can solo bosses not meant in their eyes to be soloed. But instead of congratulating their customers and letting the game evolve from it with more options and builds then you get the stupid boss who simply has some ability he activates that is an unavoidable instant death if you don’t damage him fast enough for one example.

They inevitably implement bull crap abilities like that where there is NO getting around it unless you play how THEY want you too.

If bosses like that arrive in Worldslayer I’m done though I don’t think that’s coming. But the possibility of skill silencing enemies does concern me. But until then i will keep finding more ways to “tank” SOLO everything.
