  1. So I usually 99% of the time do not comment on anyone’s page. First of all I do like how you explain things and I think your channel is pretty cool. However I play looter shooters for the LOOT. If it was a demo that didn’t carry to the full game I would say you make a valid point. Also maybe in endgame the legendaries we get now won’t matter, but if I’m trying a game out (looter shooter) and the drop rate is low in the demo, I’m guessing that would be the case even in the full game, expedition or not. For someone like myself who is a full time worker and husband and father, time I spend on looter shooters better well be worth my time, even a demo. Remember it carries over and you can import some shards or something in order to level up your favorite legendaries. Anyways didn’t want to seem mean, but thought it’s funny how you made a video about drop rates just to say who cares about drop rates.

  2. Hey @AbbyHour, maybe i missed it in one of the previews videos but which of the 4 classes/elementals or however you want to call them did you enjoy the most? I think just based on playing with the first 4 skills of every class (and reading the skill trees), i enjoy Technomancer when playing in a group but not so much when playing solo. Favorite is probably the Devastator (i am usually either a very long range or close range player) followed by the pyromancer. This is just about personal opinion, i don t mean to say anything bad about any of the classes, i think they did a good job with all of them.

  3. That makes perfectly sense! I rather farm for good gear with the 5 chests or repeating side quests. I have been trying out all the classes to compare and have a taste which build is more efficient. I just have fun and enjoy more the game than thix crazy legendary chase. And with luck the legendary drop if you are lucky

  5. I hope people don't all burn themselves out before the game goes live. I realize they get the mods and can op some weapons when launch happens and crafting becomes available. Just enjoy the demo and save the grind for launch.

  6. This is the exact type of holier than though elitist video I get really angry when streamers post. You bring people in with a title that promises some information, and then proceed to insult those same people you drew in. At best, that’s predatory.

    1) thr title is complete clickbait

    2) this is a looter shooter. Drop rate is an integral part of EVERY looter I have ever played (and I’ve played a lot). Pretending that this looter will somehow be exempt from drop rate seekers that define the genre is funny. What I cannot do/get in endgame is completely irrelevant in assessing the drop rate of any given farm.

    2) this demo is all we have ATM. “Why do people care?” Because they like the demo and can’t get the game now and want to ensure that their time NOW is spent efficiently. Again… who gives a rat turd if things will be better or different in 3 weeks. We’re playing now.

    3) So you’re fine with the community “discovering” the drop rate in the full game. But your contention is that being told in the demo what drop rate is for x,y,z is somehow wrong??? You do understand what is meant by the community “discovering” anything in a looter, right? One or two streamers post it, THEN everybody knows. There is virtually no community discovery in any game. With few exceptions, the “discovery” is virtually always found on Reddit or YouTube. To pretend in-game discoveries is sacrosanct or even an objective for most gamers is beyond tone deaf.

    4) Did you stop to think that for many gamers, the journey is irrelevant? Legit glad for you that the journey is more rewarding than the reward. That’s healthy. That POV is also a minority of the players in this genre and to look down on people who care far more about what to do than enjoying the ride is, again, elitist.

I’m jealous you have insight that others don’t. Glad you got to play through the full game. You could have delivered your same message and not sounded like you think you’re smarter than everybody else, your approach to gaming is better than others, and going out of your way to smack people upside the head you purposely drove to your video.

Something like “guys, I’ve played through the entire game. It’s amazing. Missions are awesome! Challenge is engaging. Story is awesome. There are a TON of secrets to discover and loot literally falls from the sky. Grind is not an issue in this game and the story/journey is unbelievably rewarding. No need to sweat grinding for these. You’ll get double that amount in a few hours of plying the full game. But if it makes you happy, knock yourself out.”

Same feeling: monumentally more effective. And you don’t sound like a judgemental elitist.

  7. Why do you title you video “outrider drop rate post patch” and then spend the entire video saying it’s pointless to worry about it. It’s a good point but kind of misleading in my opinion

  8. I dont care what the rates are, but im annoyed that I cant get any drop. I would like a chance to use some before I buy the game. Given the history of looter shooters there is no way I'm buying this game without seeing and experiencing some of the end game. There is really nothing unique about this game and gameplay is lackluster compared to Destiny and Anthem so I would think they'd do more to pull people in like upping drop rates for fun stuff.
